"Clap Clap Clap"

"Everyone, I need your attention for a while. As always, this month we have achieved our targeted sales, but this time it's different from the other months because this month we have achieved more than our expected sales. This would not happen without Vee and Mark. They both pulled together to get this project from the client. So please give round applause for this both hard workers as an appreciation.

"Clap Clap Clap, Wow Vee Mark". The whole office started to cheer up for Vee and Mark.

"So as part of the celebration, I have booked a dinner at Hibiscus Hotel for tomorrow. Since tomorrow is Friday, everyone gets to enjoy and take well rest coming weekend. Ploy will share the location and other information later". The CEO said while entering his office room back.

Everyone started to get into Vee and Mark's cubicle to congratulate them.

"Vee thank you, my man, because of you I can eat some good food occasionally," Nuea said.

"Thanks, Mark you guys are good at baiting clients though." Bar said.

"I'm just helping him Bar, other than that Vee is the only person handling everything since I'm not good at negotiating with clients," Mark said.

"Still, you guys did a great job though. Seeing you guys doing work together always inspires me. You guys support each other back. Great and understanding partners to be honest." Neua said. It was an overwhelming feeling for Mark when the whole office started to praise him and Vee.

Vee and Mark started to stick around together more frequently than usual. Since they had to handle some projects, they have always been sticking around even after working hours. Vee sometimes stays at Mark's apartment to prepare for their project presentation together for more convenience. On the bright side, Mark somehow feels protected whenever Vee stays at his house.

"Ring Ring Ring"

The telephone on Vee's cubicle has been ringing.

"Hello." Mark picked up the call since Vee is not in his cubicle.

"Hello, Vee."

"Sir it's Mark."

"Oh, Mark can you ask Vee to come to my office room for a while? Thanks, Mark."

"Sure, sir I will let him know right now, bye."

Mark was searching for Vee in the office after he ended the call.

"Ploy did you see Vee?' Mark asks.

I don't know maybe at the pantry. Just now I saw him there." Ploy said.

"Okay, thanks," Mark said

Meanwhile Vee and Bar at the pantry.......

"Are you sure about this Vee," Bar asked.

"Bar this is the best opportunity for me to ask her for a date," Vee said

"What if she says no? You will get embarrassed since everyone will be there at tomorrow's dinner Vee." Bar said

"Trust me Bar, I'm moving to this plan because our relationship is way better than previously. Now Ploy started to interact with me often. She no more gives me her death stares anymore. So, I think this could be the best opportunity for me to move forward. Mark told me before this that Ploy likes rose so I was planning to buy a large rose bouquet as a gift asking her for a date." Vee said.

"Vee, did you realise something?" Bar said.

"Realise what?" Vee said.

"You using Mark just for you to be with Ploy. You being selfish right now Vee. You know how much it could affect his feelings when he knows the truth about why you are being close with him." Bar said.
