More Than A Dream

Game Over

-Y/N's PoV-

"Dream!" I shouted as Sapnap pinned me against the wall. I was only keeping his sword away from my neck with my own sword.

"Oh Y/N. I won't hurt you. I just need you out of the way. It's time for the end of the human reign. The Entity will be freed and you will be safe here." Sapnap said with an evil grin. His eyes were almost blinding from the glow that radiated off of them. I had no idea what he was talking about but it didn't sound all that great to me. He suddenly yelped in pain and fell to the floor of the portal room. Dream stood behind Sapnap with his sword clutched in his hand and his mask over his face. He had cut the back of Sapnap's calf to disable him from fighting without permanent damage.

Bad and George were trying to get up. "Com'on. I have an idea " Dream said as he reached his hand out to me. I took it and he pulled me out of the portal room. "Bad! George! You wanna kill us so badly, come and get us!" Dream shouted back at them. Bad and George hesitated to follow while glancing at Sapnap.

"Hurry! Go! Get them! I'll catch up!" Sapnap seethed as he tried to stop the bleeding on his leg. Bad's and George's gaze went back to Dream and me. They started to come down the tunnel with their swords drawn. Dream gave a light tug on my hand for me to follow him. He kept at a light sprint to make sure George and Bad were still following.

"Dream! Y/N! Get over here so we can kill you!" Bad demanded.

"I think we will pass." I responded back.

"Just come and get us all ready or are you too slow?" Dream added. That seemed to anger the two hunters as they broke into a sprint. "See George's Ender Eyes?" Dream asked me softly. I glanced back at George and saw that he had a satchel over his shoulder with orbs inside.

"Yeah." I respond to Dream.

"Think you can get them if I fend them off for a sec?" He asked as his sword appeared in his hand.

I smiled, "Easily."

"Once you have them, get to the portal room. I'll make sure they don't follow us." Dream stopped and spun around to face the hunters with his sword pointed at them. I joined him at his side with my weapon. George and Bad stopped a few feet away as they assessed the situation.

"Just accept defeat! You know you can't win!" Bad demand. Dream glanced at me and gave me a small nod before swinging at George and Bad. They jumped back from his arc and I sidestepped around Dream and sliced at George. He flinched away but his body wasn't what I was aiming for. The satchel that was around his shoulder fell to the stone floor with a cling. I snatched up the bag and sprinted back down the hallway.

"She has the Eyes!" George shouted. He was about to pursue me but Dream blocked his path with a slash at him.

I got back to the portal room. Sapnap was there and his eyes narrowed as he saw the bag in my hands. He was leaning against the wall of the portal room with his hand clamped around the cut on the back of his leg. His eyes weren't glowing green anymore. They glowed a deep red. "You won't win, Y/N." He said in a voice that definitely was not his. It sent chills down my spine, "No matter what you do I will come out on top."

"Who are you? What are you doing with my friends?" I asked the Not Sapnap.

He only chucked, "Your friends are now my pawns. You are all pawns in my game."

"What game?" I asked.

"Isn't it obvious? This whole world is just a simulation. One of my own design. Once you and your friends free me I will be able to control your world." He smirked.

"You're the Entity." I stated.

He giggled, "Yes my dear. I am the Entity. Continue your path. You are so close to your freedom. You have the power." He gestured to the bag of Eyes.
