I'm still editing this story. Next story I will post in is Our Little Secret. I switched some things up. I put Dream’s PoV instead of Sapnap’s and I had finished the chapter before I realized. Happy reading!

-Y/N’s PoV-

“Wait wait. Explain what this temple thing is again.” Dream said, trying to understand his friends. The stars twinkled above them and crickets chirped in the trees around them. I yawned as Bad started to explain again. F/N was clutched in my arms and was sleeping soundlessly.

“It’s an underwater temple. We believe it might have some good loot in it.” Bad said.

“Oh okay. I think the part I misunderstood is the fact that it is underwater and last time I checked, none of us can breathe underwater.” Dream pointed out sarcastically.

“That’s where Y/N’s potions come in. We can breathe underwater with them.” George added. I was barely awake from the long day of hunting endermen and walking to the ocean so I didn’t quite process what George said. “Right Y/N?” He asked after I didn’t respond.

“Huh? What? Uh yeah.” I said groggily.

“Okay. We get down there and then get eaten by one of those fish things?” Dream crossed his arms and glared at the three.

“Guardians,” George corrected, “and they are easy to kill and defeat. Besides, they don’t have mouths. They shoot scalding hot water from their eye.”

“Ah yes. I’d rather be boiled alive than eaten. Great.” Dream said.

“Dream in his sarcastic arc.” Sapnap teased.

Dream shot him a murderous glare, “No. I’m trying to get you, idiots, to think. This underwater temple is completely out of our element with who knows how many Guardians are there. This is suicide.”

“Dream. If there are guardians then what are they protecting? Something good, right? This could help us greatly!” Sapnap said.

“We have to stay on task. We are about to get to the End. We are almost free and you want to stay and raid an underwater temple hoping that you will find something good and that it's not like some sort of bees nest?” Dream argued.

“The End has the dragon remember, Dream. This temple could have something that could help us defeat the dragon.” Bad added. George and Sapnap nodded in agreement.

Dream processed that, “What do you think Y/N?” He asked.

“Me? I uh… no?” I said after seeing Dream’s expression. I still wasn’t listening to the conversation and was zoning out.

Dream sighed, “We will make a decision tomorrow when everyone is fully awake. I think this is stupid especially when we are so close to getting out of here but maybe it will help.”

George and Sapnap high-fived and ran off to make a camp for the night. We followed them to a small clearing where Sapnap was working on getting a fire going and George was looking for firewood. I slumped against a fallen log and Sapnap had gotten the fire to a decent size and was adding more firewood to the flames. I put F/N on my lap who didn’t even stir from being placed down. I stretched out with a yawn. I was soon asleep before Bad had finished making food.

“Dream! Quit being like this!” Sapnap shouted, waking me. It was early morning and the sun was barely up making the sky orange and a deep purple. F/N looked up at me with their ears straight up like satellite dishes.
