Chapter 7
Ana was floating in the dimensions between the chest's soul and her own. Ana didn't know why she and the chest could seem to communicate so well, and actually, she didn't want to know. Ana never was the curious twin— part of why she hated the attic so much— and it was just not her to go on an unnecessary quest, as she thought of it.
Ana found a scene that she thought was interesting. The scene of Ana and Amber being born.
But from what her mother and father told them, there was no one else rather than their mother, their father, a close friend of Ava, a close friend of their father, and the nurses. There was no one else that came to attend. No wavering Aunt or Uncle. No cheery afternoons with a close cousin.
It was a long scene. And it didn't bother her, as blood and guts didn't tend bother her as much as it probably should. It was partially the effects of reading more medieval times than a normal person.
Ana hated being stuck here. She didn't know how to get back. Instead, she just tried to follow her instincts.
But her instincts were not one to rely on.
Ana kept passing this forest— it had red leaves and a white trunk— and it didn't seem that trustworthy. As much as Ana loved medieval adventures and books, she was not daring, and ready at any time just to take the chance of her soul not surviving. There could be anything in there.
But what Ana didn't know, was that she was she was living in a fantasy, and it was not necessarily a good one.

Alex shook Amber awake when the car stopped. "Amber! Wake up!"
Amber's eyes fluttered and opened. "I'm up!" Amber said stretching and taking a look at her surroundings. "Where are we?" She asked.
"Don't panic, you're in a safe place." He said, somehow it made Amber more relieved.
They got out of the car and entered this cabin somewhere into the woods. They were greeted by another boy, and he had a lot of the same features of Alex.
"Hello, Amber, I'm Anan." He said bringing out his hand for Amber to shake.
"Well, since you know my name, there's no need to exchange pleasantries. " Amber said, which made him to put down his hand.
"Where's Ryan?" She said, threateningly.
Anan sighed. "He's upstairs."
"Good." She said, climbing upstairs.
"What's her problem?" Anan said before Amber climbed the stairs.
"She probably needs to rest." Alex replied.
Amber went upstairs and knocked on the first door she saw.
'Way to go Amber, you forgot to ask what room he's in' Amber thought.
She didn't hear anyone so she went in. Ryan was lying down on the bed fast asleep. Amber shut the door and went to his bedside to take a closer look at him. Ryan looked so beat down and tired.
Amber muttered a small "I love you." As she was about to leave Ryan's eyes fluttered open.
"Amber?" His small, tiny voice echoed in the small room, as it only had a small dresser and a bed. There wasn't even a closet.
"Yes?" She said turning around.
"Amber!!" Ryan jumped from the bed and hugged her. "I was so scared Amber, I thought I'd never see any of you ever again." As he hugged her, Amber felt his hot, wet tears on her T-shirt.
Amber wiped his tears with the back of her hand. "No, don't cry Ryan, everything's gonna be alright, yeah?"
He gave a slight nod, and it was obvious.
"Now, go to bed, I'll see you tomorrow, Goodnight." She said hugging him again.
"Yeah." He said as they broke apart. "Goodnight Amber." He said going back to his bed.
Amber left the room and made her way downstairs.
Alex and Ana were busy talking and didn't even notice Amber walk past them to the kitchen, to get some water.
Amber began making her way back upstairs, before she turned back and walked up to Anan.
"Hey, um, I'm sorry for the way I acted earlier on." She said, and that was her apology for him.
"It's fine."
"Awesome, and which of the rooms am I gonna stay in?" Amber asked pointing towards the stairway.
"The room next to Ryan's." Alex said.
"Thank you, goodnight." She said.
"Goodnight." Alex and Anan replied in unison before Amber went up to her room.
When Amber got to the top of the stairs, she found Ryan's room by feel. She decided, even though there was barely any room in Ryan's small room, that she would drag the bed to his bedside and sleep there.
After she had dragged the mattress to Ryan's room she fell asleep, almost immediately after laying down, and she barely had any sleep.

Heyo meh people.
I've been at school mostly this whole week and the week before, and I've literally had no free time.
Idk, but I think that this is mostly a combo of my and Jewel's writing. MOSTLY. jk It's all of our writing.
I wanna say this; I'm thinking of writing a new book after this; It's called MEOW. I'm not exactly sure if it's a fanfic, or a werewolf, or a sci-fi, but the description and prologue. I'm writing it alone, though...
So yeah.
