Chapter 11-

Ana sat down on a rock, only after chasing a certain cat.

"Kitty cat..." Ana whispered from her rock.

The cat wandered over to Ana. It sniffed Ana's hand, and even licked it.

Ana smiled and flipped her hand over to pet the cat on the head, and it welcomed the warmth of her hand on its head.

"Hey... Where did you come from?" Ana cooed to the angel-like kitty.

The panther grew in size and bowed down, as if showing a way to leave and be traveled around.

Ana pet its head one more time and tested her weight on the cat. It grew, which caught Ana off guard. It started running, carrying Ana's full weight, roughly 140 pounds, and she hooked her arms around its neck.

"--yes, yes, my brother. We can do this." The voice was Anan's.

"You do know, one of us has to stay with the children?" Alex said, and Amber's heart dropped, because he had called her a child.

"Yes, I know." Anan said, then sighed.

Amber put a stop to her flying feet and sat down, resting her head against the wall of the stairwell. She quickly realised that Anan or Alex could find out that she was eavesdropping, so she got up and casually walked into the dining room like she didn't hear anything.

"Hey guys." She said jogging past them into the kitchen. She came back in with a bottle of water in her hands. She twisted open the cap and took a sip and swallowed.

The boys stopped talking as soon as she came into the rooms and looked at her.

"What were you guys talking about?" Amber asked slowly, as if suspicious.

"Um, Amber I really think you should go to bed." Alex told her.

"I'm not a child, Alex." She said with an evil glare set on Alex.

Both of the boys avoided her gaze.

"Erm.." Alex said, and laughed awkwardly, which was basically a subject ender. "Nothing. Just... fluffy stuff."

Amber scoffed and walked away and up the stairs.

While it probably seemed to Amber that she needed to sleep, the reality was that she had to stay up. Amber was exhausted and she knew that the boys would probably leave that night.

But she just got sleepier and sleepier... until she fell asleep.

Amber woke in a meadow. But this was definitely not your normal meadow.

It had auburn colored grass and the sky was blood-red. The grass itself was splattered with blood.

Amber heard grumbles and growls. She heard a war-cry and stampeding hooves toward her.

"Hello Amber." It was Ana's voice that was calling out to her.

She looked up to see Ana in a protective stance, sitting atop a mighty panther.

"Amber, sister, come with me. You have--" Ana gestured to the stampeding rush of horses, cows, and hooves. "--no choice."

Ana put out her hand. Amber grabbed it with as much force as she had. Ana pulled Amber up.

"Make sure to hold on." Ana whispered, and grinned with newfound ferocity. "This is amazing. Sorry, one second." She seemed to put her head closer to the majestic cat. "Yeah, Ren?"

The cat made grumblings and growls and even a few howls of annoyance. Ana rolled her eyes.

"Okay, okay." Ana straightened back up. "Amber, this is Ren."

"Ren?" Amber asked. "Isn't that a guy's name?"

"Yup." Ana cocked her head. "And I guess. It could be a girl's name too"

"Sure." Amber replied, although a bit reluctantly.

They rode on the panther for a bit without bothering to talk at all. They just appreciated the silence of their surroundings, although some might not call it silence at all.

"Umm... Ana?" Amber said, scratching her head. "Why am I even here?"

Ana smiled. She looked at the sky.

"I think you've wished to see me so much lately that it just came true. I mean, look at where we are! A perfect blue sky, the grass green, and wonderful! I think I'm starting to love this place." She sighed. "I could stay here forever."

Amber gaped at Ana. There was one thing that majorly stuck out about that whole conversation. The sky was not blue, it was bloody. The grass was a grand auburn red, not a beautiful green grass.

"Ana..." Amber said. "Look at me."

Ana slowly turned her head. Her eyes were a cat's.

Amber gasped up in bed. The room was dark, and she could barely see her own fingers, even when she held them in front of her face.

Amber went into the bathroom. She looked in the mirror. She screamed.

Now she had them too.

This time, Amber woke up for real. Her mind had been playing tricks on her the whole time. But that was only what she told herself.

Amber's sheets were tangled like a web woven by a spider; the quilt she had been using, hanging off the bottom of the bed-post; the sheet tangled around Amber herself; the pillows, one between her legs and the other laying on the floor.

It seemed that she was quite tangled within the mess from not only herself but also from others' mistakes too.

She left the mess of her bedroom, and walked up to someone else's. She knew she wouldn't have any nightmares in there.

Hi all....Jewel here! Just to set the record straight.... Mary wrote this entire chapter.....that's why it's so weird....but still a round of applause for Dot.

--Jewel

The cat is Ren. You know, the picture one.

So... I think Jewel wrote a few sentences in there somewhere... but she has exams coming soon.... and I have no school... So I'm writing! Hopefully there should be another one... sometime soon...

Whose bedroom is it tho? Ryan's? Anan's? New person that you haven't met yet but Amber has?
