Ana was eyeing Amber like a prey; how she could sneak up on her the best? What was the best way to kill, the best way to have Amber without fleeing?

Ana was wild, she had control. All the control! She could keep everyone in check. She could rule everyone, have everyone bow down to her. She could rule! She would rule.

'But this is not what I want, is it?' Ana's soul thought. Her soul, because her body happened to be possessed. In other words, it just happened to be that her body was occupied with another being. What Ana was, was actually another being entirely. She was not exactly human, with the way the chest was taking over her body. Though she was the more stubborn, less daring, twin, she was the twin that thought things out for longer. She tended to overthink things, but that was exactly what they needed in this situation.

But what Ana's shell, her body, in other words, was doing, was not under any control.

All that time, Ana had been holding back on the full power that the chest had given her. She made sure that she had control over the chest. That was what her doubts were. The chest never really controlled Amber the way it controlled Ana. The chest could either take over both girls or one of them, most probably the most vulnerable one.

And I bet you can guess who the vulnerable one is.

Amber simply didn't do anything except ponder on why Ana behaved so violently some time ago.

'She's not usually the violent type, heck she can't even hurt a fly, to talk more of hitting me, there's something really wrong with Ana, and I'm gonna find out.' Amber thought while getting up from the the bed, and for a moment, forgetting that she was on bed rest, at least until she stumbled and became dizzy with nausea. And stumbled toward the bathroom, and putting her hands on the sink to steady herself.

But Amber had forgotten that Ana was out; she had forgotten what Ana had told her. She didn't mean to of course, and it wasn't her fault that she had a partially short term memory, and the head injury didn't help her in any way at all."Ana? Amber?" Ryan's small voice called out to the twins. "Are you here? Mum wants to see you two."

"Ryan?" Amber croaked out in a raspy voice, and even she was surprised that her voice came out like that. "I need you to tell mum that Ana's not here."

"Not here?" Ryan squeaked through the doorway of their room, just entering at the statement. "W-what do you mean?"

"A-Ana l-left." Amber's voice cracked as she realized that Ana left. Left her, left Ryan, and left their mother.

"Amber, you've got to explain more clearly." Ryan was obviously sounding worried "Ana left to where?"

"I don't know, okay?!?" Amber snapped at Ryan, quickly holding her throat, because it was sore from the sudden outburst.

"Ryan, please just go." Amber said as Ryan sat on her bed.

"Amber! Where's my sister?!" Ryan asked. He loved the girls equally but he had a huge soft spot for Ana.

"She's my sister too!" Amber said trying so hard not to shout, as if only caring that her throat might hurt, but in truth, she was acting like it didn't bother her as much as it actually did.

Ryan started crying. "What do you expect me to say to mum?" he said in between sobs, his voice cracking at the end..

"Tell her the truth?" Amber suggested, even though it sounded more like a question, and sat  down next to Ryan.

Ryan finally stopped crying and asked. "Which is?"

"I don't know." Amber sighed, and she just wanted to cry. Ryan ran out of the twins' room.

"Ryan! Wait!" Amber said, but Ryan didn't seem to listen, as he ran into his room and slammed his door shut with full force.

'How could Ana leave, just like that and where could she be?' Amber thought, as she got into bed and cried herself to sleep.

Amber woke up and still no sign of Ana, she expected Ryan to already tell Ava about Ana's sudden disappearance, but Amber had to face her mum someday, she got up from her bed, she wobbled a little but finally made her way towards the bathroom. She splashed some water on her face and wiped it with a towel.

"Amber." Ana's voice called to her, from seemingly, everywhere around her.

"Who is that? Ana?" Amber said, frightened at the aspect of Ana finally appearing.

"Yes Amber, turn around." Ana's voice said, Amber turned to where the voice is coming from, which was the mirror.

Amber gasped when she saw Ana's reflection, but it was not a regular reflection that Amber saw, but a somewhat ghostly reflection. "Ana, is that you?" Amber said reaching out to touch the mirror.

"No!!!" Ana shouted before Amber's hand could touch the mirror "I'm not meant to be speaking to you, and you're not meant to touch the mirror, or else it'll know."

"Who is it, Ana?" Amber said a little bit freaked out.

"The chest." Ana said barely above a whisper, Amber stood there frozen, while Ana told her everything from Ana's encounter with the chest to Ana's body being controlled by the chest.

"But, what's in the chest and where is it?" Amber asked, curiously, to her it could just be one of Ryan's pranks.

'But how can Ryan know about the chest' Amber thought.

"I don't know for sure, because I can only see what the chest is doing with my body and hear its thoughts, I just figured out how to talk to you, without it finding out." Ana said.

"But couldn't this just be another one of Ryan's stupid pranks?" Amber asked, and the only reason she even aked, was that she was holding on to hope that what was happening wasn't true.

"No Ana, look behind you." Ana said.

Amber looked behind her, and looked straight where Ana should be.

No sign of Ana, at all. Not one tiny little bit.

"A-Ana... Where are you?"

"Amber, I told you that this is real." Ana said, and then she started to fade.

"No!" Amber yelled.

"I'll be back!" Ana said, calmly. "I'll be back..."  She whispered.
