Chapter 12-

Amber woke up peacefully for the first time in days. The light was shining in the room, and two arms were wrapped around her. Amber even blushed, although there truly wasn't a need to. All Amber was happy about was that he didn't reject her to letting her fall asleep once more with him.

Amber didn't want to move.

So she didn't.

But the only problem was that she felt him move toward her, so she turned to face him, as if she would if she rolled over in her sleep.

The bed creaked and shifted, and Amber didn't really know what he was doing until she felt his warm breath tickling her neck, as he was on the wall side of the bed. Alex released the pressure of the bed and stood up, trying his best not to wake Amber. Amber shifted as if she was waking up for the first time that morning.

"Amber?" He called out softly.

"Hey." She said, waking up. She couldn't help but stare at Alex's bare chest, but it was extremely hard for Amber to avert her eyes. It took almost all her willpower to rip the anchors her eyes seemed to have made.

But before she had ripped the chains of steel away, he had caught her. He put on a half grin that showed pure cockiness, and put on a T-shirt. Amber, without thinking, frowned a little.

"Aw, don't feel bad." Alex cooed, and then smirked, noticing Amber's quick change of emotions.

Realizing what she did, Amber blushed slightly. Looking around her, she blushed even more.

He cleared his throat awkwardly, bringing Amber back to reality.

"So......" Amber said, looking around the room, and focusing on the ceiling, as if it was the most interesting thing in the room. She realized that she was still snuggled up in his comforter and breathing in his scent.

She slowly got up, without taking off the blanket.

Alex called after her; "Why are you going downstairs? There's no one even there anymore. Anan already left..." His voice faded as he realized what he said.

Amber crinkled her eyebrows.

"What do you mean there won't be anyone there? What happened to Anan?" Amber asked intensely, scrutinizing him with her glare.

Alex kept his mouth shut, and his lips were pressed together. It was obvious that it took a bit of effort not to spill on Anan.

But as she left the room, Alex grabbed her arm so that she was facing him. She was only inches away from his face.

"He left to save Ana."

Ana was watching the grass go by as Ren carried her. She had tried more than once to get off of the panther, but it felt like she was glue to his back. Ana was beginning to get tired of just sitting and waiting for her ride to be over. She was even tempted to start petting his sleek coat of black fur. She sighed heavily, hoping that her piggy back ride would soon come to an end. Ren took her into some sort of clearing. She saw something that looked like a silhouette of someone, which sent chills down her spine.

'Why would someone else be in here, I'm the only one who has access, well I and the chest of course.' She thought.

She tried getting Ren to turn around but it was as if Ren was leading her to him, she was too busy focusing on her thoughts, not noticing the branch that was sticking out from a tree. When she quickly put herself in order, it was too late, the branch hit her on the head and she fell into a slight faint.

Heyyyyy.....Jewel here, just wanna say...I'm So so so so so so sorry about the late update....exams got in the way...But Hey! Guess what? I passed! Sooooooooo.....now that that's finally gone, I'm so happy for summer! Cuz I and Dot have more time to work on TSS, and Summer vacation..... Anyone going anywhere special?
