Meera's Pov:

That morning I woke up to the soft sound of alexa playing my alarm.

"Alexa stop." I said, curling into Wes's bare chest even more.

When I opened my eyes, I was faced with Wes's sleeping face.

It's funeral day.

My eyes glossed over as I brushed his hair off his eye, accidentally waking him up.

"Good morning," He rasped, stretching his legs against mine, grounding our bodies together. "Don't start your day crying milaya."

He brushed off my eyes, absorbing all the water away. Wrapping his arms all around me, he pulled me closer and I calmed down.

"Thank you." I said, finally getting out of bed.

"Don't." He held up a hand. "I'm going to go get ready, I'll be back in twenty minutes tops."

"Okay." I walked him out to the staircase, watching him leave.

I brushed my teeth and showered. I spent a while in the shower as I had to wash my hair but even then, all the thoughts came pouring out in there.

The shower was clearly my thinking space.

I pad into my room, wrapped up in my towel and find Wes sitting on my bed dressed in a suit.

"AHHH!" I jumped, struggling to keep my towel up. I looked down to make sure everything was covered and then looked at Wes.

"Privacy please?!"

"Sorry, sorry." He turned around and I grabbed all of my products, my white kurti and matching palazzo and the dupatta.

"How fast did you shower and get ready?" I asked, spreading lotion all over my body.

"I don't take that long to get ready Lyubov."

I laughed and pulled on my bra and kurti over the towel wrap on my head.

Once I had the whole outfit on, I went out and dumped my towels in the laundry basket and went to the dresser for my hair brush. "I have to dry my hair."

"Okay, do you need any help?"

"I think I can do it myself, Wes." I chuckled, brushing through my tangled hair.

I saw down in front of my vanity and turned on the Dyson, blowing it all over my head for a good five to ten minutes.

After that, I switched the attachment on the Dyson to the brush and Wes raised a brow. "This one will give me straight hair. That one was jus to dry my hair so I could use this." I explained.

I heard noises coming from the hallway, signaling that people were still in my house and could come into my room any second.

"Did anyone see you coming up?"

"No Meera, no one saw me." He assured me and I continued to straighten my hair using the Dyson.

Once I was done, I slapped on a little bit of makeup to cover up the redness on my face and the puffiness around my eyes.

My phone pinged at that moment and Wes was the closest to it. I could tell that he was itching to grab it and check it but he refrained himself. I sighed and turned my head back. "Can you see who that is?"

Please don't be James.

"It's from someone named Liam P?" Confusion filled his tone.

"Liam P??!?!? What did he say?"
