Wes's Pov:
After the whole baseball game thing, Meera and I head back to my house.
That was so badass of her to do. Not many have the guts to confront a group of baseball kids who are super full of themselves.
Once we were in my room, I sat down on the bed next to Meera.
"Wait why were you at the game?" She turned to me, raising a brow.
"I was there for Dylan, that sophomore on varsity? He moved here on a baseball transfer and I'm his mentor. I didn't know you were going to be there either."
"Oh."
I looked down at her, making eye contact. Unknowingly we both leaned forward until our faces were mere inches away. I could feel my eyes molt from lust. As I closed in towards her lips, she pushed back and turned away.
"I know you made out with Sarah." She blurted, scooting away from me.
What-
"I- Meera... I can explain." I gently wrapped my fingers around her wrist.
"No Wes, you don't need to." Meera turned to face me. "It's fine." She gritted out, getting up to leave.
"Meera wait. Don't leave." I pleaded, getting up and blocked her way of exiting.
"I have to get home Wes." She mumbled, pushing me out of her way.
"I was angry, annoyed, upset and full of spite when I kissed Sarah. If I could, I would take it back." I blurted as one last attempt to stop her.
"It seems like you do a lot of things you wish you could take back." She said before leaving.
"Fuck." I fall back on my bed and contemplate how to fix this.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
I finally figure out a good way to fix this mess. One phone call and twenty minutes later, I show up at Meera's doorstep with Sarah.
"Wes?" Meera's mom looks at me in confusion and eyes Sarah too.
"This is Sarah. Is Meera home?"
"Yes, she's up in her room. I'm about to head out to go to the Indian grocery store in Harrisvile with the Fois, could you let her know I'm not going to be back till late and that Dad is also gonna be out late. Make sure she eats Wes."
"Sure." We both walked in and took our shoes off.
We climbed up the stairs and Sarah followed me into Meera's room. I knocked on her door, "I'm busy."
I pushed her door open, seeing that her back was faced to the door. "Mom, I'm taking a nap."
I cleared my throat and she immediately jumped up. "Your mom just left for the grocery store in Harrisvile and your dad is out late."
"Why are you two here?" She eyed us with immense suspicion.
Sarah speaks up from beside me. "I was the one who kissed Wes and he didn't kiss me first or try to kiss me back. I'm sorry, I didn't know that you two were a thing or dating."
"It's fine. We were not a thing or dating and you didn't do anything wrong." She pressed her lips together.
"No really I feel horrible, Wes told me you guys weren't talking and I just took advantage of that. That wasn't very nice of me." Sarah pressed. "He really cares about you." She added. "I think that's my cue to leave." And with that, Sarah was gone.
I walk towards the bed. "I am really fucking sorry for everything." I say, holding her face in my hands.
"It's fine. I'm just really tired and I want to sleep."
"I owe you a massage." I blurt, remembering last night's FaceTime.
"It's fine Wes, I just want to take a nap right now."
I sat down on the bed right next to her and started kneading her side. She groaned and tried to shove me off but I kept my grip firm on her waist.
After a few minutes, Meera was starting to doze off so I turned her over on her back.
"Wes I really like you." Meera mumbled half asleep.
"Ya tebya lyublyu." I murmured, against her forehead, placing a small kiss there.
While my lips were still on her forehead, she wrapped her arms around my back, pulling me down.
My breath hitched, as I tried to get back up, but her arms wouldn't let go. "Meera? C'mon love, you can't sleep with me on top of you like this." I urged.
"You didn't have a problem sleeping like this that one time." She snapped, yanking me even closer to her body.
"I don't have a problem, but I don't want to put all my weight on you." I retorted, trying to move off her.
"Fine." She let go of me. "Get out Wes."
I sighed. "Meera,"
"Leave."
I climbed on top of her and pulled a blanket over us. Meera gasped as my fingers pushed under her waist, encasing her to me. My head rested on her collarbone, her chin in my hair.
"I'm staying."
"Wes, I can't sleep like this." Meera groaned after a few minutes.
"What do you mean? I thought you wanted this."
"Your fingers on my waist are a huge fucking distraction. My stomach is in knots now." She heaved.
"Really? So when I do this," I started kneading her waist and hips. "You're distracted?"
She threw her head back and bit down on her lip.
I inched higher up her torso, kneading and pressing all the right spots, making her squirm.
"Stop, Stop, Stop," she groaned, digging her nails into my biceps. "Wes, please?"Meera's back arched all the way up, pressing into my chest, her head nuzzling in the crook of my neck.
I kept pressing, up and up till I reached below her breasts. "Oh my god," Meera bit down on my neck, surprising me. I propped myself on my hands, hovering above her.
"Kinky?" I mused, smirking down at her.
"No!" She exclaimed. "You were going too far."
"Go away Wes." She scoffed, trying to turn over. Instead, I flipped her on her back and dropped my hands, pushing them under her stomach and nuzzling my head near the nape of her neck.
"Go to sleep milaya."
"Tell me what that means." Meera gritted out.
"Sleep." I ordered, pressing my fingers into her abdomen.
"I hate you." She muttered, sighing on the pillow.
"You know you fucking love me." I smiled against her shoulder bone, drawing a heart on her back with my finger.
After a few minutes, Meera's breathing evened out and I could hear light snores coming from her.
I rolled off her back and gently pulled her into me, enveloping her and the little teddy bear in between us.
