Meera's Pov:
Surprisingly after the funeral was over, the days went quick but they seemed repetitive.
Wake up, go to school, come home, talk to relatives, sit for annual prayer, eat dinner, sleep and repeat.
The prayer would happen everyday for the next thirteen days to grant the deceased's soul peace and happiness in the afterlife.
Liam had left yesterday, four days after the funeral. Since they drove from Texas all the way to Virginia, it would take them about two days with several stops to get back home.
"Lyubov, mama made you Schi," Wes handed me a box. "It's vegetarian, don't worry."
"Thank you." I smiled.
It was already past nine pm on a Thursday night and tomorrow I had a huge test in the morning.
Along with that, Oliver had invited me to watch his baseball game, he was finally in the starting batting line up so he wanted everyone he knew there to watch.
James would also be playing but who cares about that. Just ignore him and you'll be fine.
I ate the Schi Wes's mom made and returned the container after washing it.
Wes came up to my room and grabbed his bag and left for the night.
God what are we?
We've kissed, made out, literally slept next to each multiple times and he even gave me a fucking orgasm.
I need to stop overthinking it because I don't even know if him and I make a "we".
Time to figure out what the hell is going one between us.
Me: wes
Wes <3: yes lyubov?God he's killing me with the whole "Yes, love." Thing.
Me: I have a question
Wes<3: go on
Me: what are we?
Wes<3: what do you mean
Me: what are we?Right at that moment, my phone buzzed.
Incoming call from Wes<3
I hesitantly answered.
"What are we. That's what you want to know?" He said.
"Yes." I breathed, holding my phone close to my ear.
"You tell me, what do you think we are?"
"Wes!" I groaned softly.
"Meera."
"You hurt me." I blurted.
The line goes silent for a few seconds. "I know." I heard him croak. "And I'm so sorry about that. I wish I could take it all back."
"Before all of this happened, what were we? We acted like a whole couple but there was no label." I added after a couple of seconds of silence.
"I would like to assume we were in somewhat of a talking stage, practically almost dating."
"I don't like James like that Wes. I stopped liking him the day he told me he liked Emerson. And I would never get with James."
"I know. And I'm sorry I ever doubted you. That wasn't fair of me."
I stripped all my clothing off and changed into pajamas.
"I'm glad you realized that."
