We got home quite late, but still it wasn't night late. It was about four in the evening, I decided to go draw something to pass the time to dinner, but after several minutes of sitting by my table, looking at the blank page in front of me, unable to think of anything to draw, I gave up. I walked to the living room area, seeing the front door open and Jonathan cleaning the pool of blood on our porch, mom was in the kitchen, probably making dinner. I walked to the bookshelf we had that I never really payed much attention to, I didn't know what I wanted to read, I just looked at the titles, looking for something interesting. I came across a familiar titles like 'Sherlock Holmes' by Arthur Connan Doyle, I read that for school once. Then one book caught my attention, the name just said 'IT' (we're gonna pretend that it wasn't published at September and that it's published already). I took the book out, looking at the cover, it was just a drawing of a clown, it's by Stephen King, so it's probably a horror. As much as I hate horrors, I decided it can't be worse than what is happening here right now, so I took the book to my room.

"Will, honey, dinner's ready!" mom called from the next room, I didn't even realize it was that late.

I walked to the kitchen, looking at the clock that showed six twenty five. I was really into the book that I didn't even notice how the time flew around.

"Mom, did you read the books we have in our library?" I asked, sitting down.

"Some of them, why?" mom said.

"I borrowed one earlier, and it was really intersting book. I like it a lot." I said.

"Oh, I'm glad you do. Which one?" mom asked.

"It's called 'IT', from Stephen King." I replied.

"Oh, that's new book, I haven't read that one yet. I'll read it when you're done with it." mom said.

"Actually, could I keep it? Please?" I asked, mom just gave me a questioning look.

"Sure, but why can't I read it?" mom asked with a tone of laugh in her voice.

"You can, but I don't think you'd like it." I said quickly.

"Why not? You like it." mom said.

"Well, it's kinda about similiar things that are happening here, but worse, I guess." I went over the story quickly.

"Okay, honey." mom smiled, going back to her food.

After dinner, I got ready for bed and pretended to go to sleep, but as the house went quiet, I turned on my bedside lamp, going back to reading. One, because I was really interested by the book and two, I didn't want another nightmare.

I don't know how long I stayed up, but I managed to finish the entire book, I layed down, turning off the lamp, smiling to myself. Richie and Eddie were deffinetly in love. I didn't want to fall asleep, but I was really tired. And soon I felt my eyes closing, and as much as I tried to keep them open, I still must have fallen asleep.

I was expecting everything, but not this. I saw the very first place I would always see in my nightmares, Harrington's pool, but Barb wasn't there. Instead I could see it through someone else's eyes, that someone didn't look like a human from what I saw, but that someone looked nothing like a demogorgon either. For all I could see, they had big claws and grey-ish skin, it felt like a thunder went off, but I didn't see the lightning strike, suddenly the place I would always see Barb lay at turned into something I knew all too well. A gate was open just there, I was expecting to be taken to the other places from my dreams, but that didn't happen, insted the someone whose eyes I saw through jumped down inside the pool, even though it felt more like floating, and went straight through the gate.
