Sylvester

"What do you mean we lost the shipment! How do you lose 200 kilos of cocaine and 20 crates of ammunition?!"  I yelled at one of the guards who stood in my office.

Apparently the new shipment that was supposed to be delivered today got stolen today. 9 of my men were found dead and since I always send 10 men, it meant we had a mole that needed to be dealt with.

"I don't know boss, the shipments never made it to the port and when I called to find out what was with the delay, one of the recruits said that one of the drivers had pressed the emergency alarm before he was shot" the guard said as I rubbed my hand through my hair.

This was Alessandros doing. He stole my shipments which would slow down business. This was probably apart of his plan, to ruin my business which would drop the respect levels that others have for the Gravano name.
I couldn't have people thinking that my shipments are an easy target Which wasn't good.
I needed to put an end to this before it got out of control. Before word got out that my shipment was stolen.

"Call Rico into my office and get information on who made it out the truck. Now!" I yelled as I threw a scotch glass at the door where he stood. The guard left me alone in my office as I tried to calm down. "FUCK!"

I stood by the window as I grabbed the bottle of whiskey, pouring it into another glass. I looked out the window as I thought about how I'd make Alessandro pay for this.
"You called Boss?" Rico said as he walked into my office. "Our last shipment was stolen by Alessandro, he has a mole helping him out, we need to find out who and teach him a lesson. Once you find out who, make sure you handle it in one of our warehouse bases, I don't need another incident where Nicole walks in and makes a run for Brazil" I let out which made Rico chuckle a little which made me laugh as well at the thought.

"I'm guessing you two are back on track now?" He said. "We're getting there. That why I need her as far away from this as possible, if she finds out about all of this, she'll try to intervene and I don't need that right now"

"Yes boss"

"Thank you, oh and Rico I need you to run an errand for me"

Nicole's Pov

I woke up to an empty bed which made me a sad a little. I had hoped that after our conversation from last night, that I'd atleast get to wake up with him but that wasn't the case.

I got out  of bed and got dressed in an oversized black shirt and shorts. I did my best to tie my hair in a bun bit it was messy, but I didn't mind, it wasn't like I had anywhere to go.
I got out the room and bumped into Rico who just walked out Sylvester's office. "Morning Rico" I greeted with a smile.

"Morning Nikky I was just about to wake you up, he's busy in his office, but he told me to tell you that breakfast is downstairs and he'll be down in a few minutes" Rico and I walked downstairs to the kitchen and just laughed and joked around.

"So you and Sylvester huh?" He said with a mouth filled with pancake's. "What about us?"
"I haven't heard any fights in a while so I'm assuming you guys have settled your differences?" He said as he drank his beverage.

"Yea I guess so. This whole Kevin-I mean Alessandro thing kind of pushed us together and I guess maybe we'll see where things go, if none of us die that is" I joked "that's good to hear, hopefully you won't skip countries this time" he laughed out which made me laugh too.

"Shouldn't Sylvester be down right now?" I asked as I checked the time. "He's probably really busy, he'll eat once he's free"

"I'll just go give him his breakfast then come back down " I said as I jumped up from the chair and grabbed his breakfast. I walked out the kitchen and saw one of Sylvester's men come out from my room which was strange. None of the men have ever gone into my room before, I didn't even think it was allowed.
He looked at me with a creepy look before tipping his hat at me with a creepy smirk. He walked out the door and disappeared. I couldn't help but shake the feeling that there was something off about him.

I got to my room and that's when I saw it. There was an unknown phone left on my bed and it made my skin crawl. I placed the plate of food on the bed as I grabbed the phone to inspect it.
It only had one number in it and it was saved as "Alessandro Lucchesse"

My heart dropped.

I looked around the room to see if there was anything else suspicious, like a box that may or may not have a bomb in it.
If the phone was in my room, it meant that Alessandro knew where I was. That he knew the location of the safe house.

I couldn't breathe properly, flashbacks of the last thing he had left for me, started filling my mind. I was scared, I didn't know what to expect, whether or not this phone would trigger something else.
And that's when it rang, it was Alessandro.

I hesitated to answer, I knew who he really was now, but I still couldn't get past the idea of him being a bad guy. He was more than just a friend to me and knowing that it was all a lie just broke my heart.
But after everything that he did, I knew that I still needed to hear him out. I needed answers, I needed to know if everything was a lie, if he just used me to get to Sylvester, so I answered the phone.

Nicole, glad you picked up
What do you want.
I just want to talk
About what? About how you used me to get to Sylvester?!
Look. I'll explain everything to you, just meet me at the location I sent to you in 2 hours
And why would I meet with you?
Because you have questions and I have the answers.

And just like that he dropped the phone. I knew that I shouldn't meet with him but he was right, I had questions and I needed the answers. "Nicole you alright?" Sylvester said as he walked into the room, making me hide the phone behind my back.

"Yes I'm okay, I was just about to come see you and give you your breakfast"

I knew that I couldn't tell Sylvester about the phone or he'd take it away and stop me from going to whatever location Alessandro wanted us to meet, so I made sure to hide the phone.

"Okay let's go then" Sylvester said as he grabbed the plate from the bed. "I'll be there in a minute just give me a second" I said as I made my way to the bathroom.

Meet me by the Old Mabel House there'll be a man waiting for you outside you house, he'll take you.

That's all that the text said. Unbelievable, Alessandro had a man infiltrate Sylvester's safe house and I doubt he knew.
I needed to tell him, but I couldn't. Not now atleast, I couldn't tell him not until after I got my answers.
