Chapter 3: Mission

Third Person Pov 

The next day Giyuu woke up, and of course got ready for the day. 

He put on his uniform, then his haori. 

He then got his sword and attached it to his belt. 

He then tied his hair up in his usual messy ponytail. 

Giyuu realized the cut from his wrist was showing a lot of tissue. 

So he got a bandage and bandaged it. 

He wonders if Shinobu noticed it yesterday. He saw she was looking at his wrist last night. 

"CAW CAW! CAW CAW! Tomioka Giyuu! You have a mission at a village near the south! Go now! Rumors are there is a powerful demon lurking nearby!"

Oh, there's already a mission. I'll go now. 

Giyuu was quick, he got there in less than in hour. It was still morning. 

He saw civilians. 

I might as well ask them about this demon. It might be one of the demon moons. 

Giyuu approached a young woman, probably a young adult, who looked scared. 

"Excuse me ma'am, may I ask why you seem so scared?" Giyuu asked. 

"N-n-no! Please get away...!" she said. 

"Ma'am, I'm here to help. Tell me what's wrong" Giyuu said. 

"F-f-fine. My brother- h-he got killed and eaten by a demon. I told the townspeople but they called me crazy and they labeled me mentally ill." she said nervously. 

This seemed to disturb Giyuu. Because it felt familiar. 

I remember when I was younger... the people at my town did the same. I told them that a demon killed nee-san but they didn't believe me. They labeled me mentally ill like this woman right here.

"You don't think I'm crazy... do you?" the woman asked. 

"Of course not. In fact I'm a demon slayer. I came here to kill the demon who is lurking this town." Giyuu said. 

"And hey, can I tell you something?" Giyuu asked. 

"Um, sure..." the woman said nervously.

"About when the people of this town didn't believe you, and called you mentally ill. When I was little, I told the people of a town that a demon devoured my older sister. But they didn't believe me and also labeled me mentally ill. So I'm here now." Giyuu said. 

"Oh.. I'm so sorry" the woman said quietly. 

"It's alright. And now I should go and kill the demon. Sayonara." Giyuu said.                                          (Btw guys if you didn't know 'sayonara' is goodbye in Japanese)

"Alright. Sayonara" the woman said. 

In a blink of an eye, Giyuu vanished.

Ello everyone. Sorry if this chapter is a little short, it's a Monday and stuff for me, and yep. School. :(
