Chapter 18: Approval

No one pov: 

Giyuu woke up. Well that was a strange dream. Who was that boy with pink hair? Was it someone who I was close to when I was still human? 

Giyuu was still wondering if it was wrong for him to become a demon. 

Why did I even become a demon? I forgot, do other demons forget what their human lives were like too? 

In the Butterfly Estate 

"Kocho-kun, where do you think Tomioka is right now? Or do you not know?" Tamayo asked. 

"Well, the last time I saw him was with Upper 2. They might be with each other right now, but other than that, I don't know, Tamayo-san." Shinobu replied. 

Tamayo's eyes widened. 

"He's with upper 2?" Tamayo said calmly, but there was still fear in her eyes. 

"I think so, yes." 

"I think I know where upper 2 lives. Lots of young women disappear around there lately, and as well as I know, upper 2 loves eating women, especially young women." Tamayo said. 

This disgusting bastard. 

Shinobu nodded, "Where does he live?"

"He has a cult, and he lives in a temple where people come to worship him. The cult has been going on for more than 100 years, so I suspected that the cult leader was a demon, of how young he looked despite the years." Tamayo replied. 

"If he's there, then Tomioka-san is ought to be there too. We have to attack... and we have to get Tomioka-san back... And use the cure on him. We can also kill that disgusting demon, upper moon 2 while we're at it. I hate him," Shinobu spat out. 

"It is a good idea, but we'll have to make plans. Tomioka and upper 2 are very powerful demons. Also, Tomioka was a Hashira so we'll have to be more careful."  

"Let's inform the master and the other Hashiras that we finished our cure, and that we'll plan an attack on upper 2's temple." Shinobu said. 

Shinobu wrote to Kagaya if she can go and have a talk with him. 

Kagaya then sent a crow back to Shinobu saying that she could.

Shinobu made her way to the Ubayashiki mansion, and opened the gates. Kagaya wasn't there yet. 

Shinobu went and kneeled down in front of the estate, waiting for Kagaya to show up. 

A few moments later, his daughters came out, saying, "Oyakata-sama has arrived." 

"Hello, my child." 

"Hello, Oyakata-sama. It is great to see you." 

A moment passed. 

"You sent a letter to me about how you want to organize a talk with me, what is it that you want to talk about?" Kagaya asked. 

"It's about Tomioka-san. Me and Tamayo-san has finished the cure, but we haven't tried it yet. Is it okay if we try it on a demon when we see one before instantly killing it?" Shinobu said. 

"Of course, Shinobu." 

"Also, one more thing, master. Me and Tamayo-san has decided that once our cure does work, we will plan an attack on upper moon 2's temple. Tomioka-san is sure to be there, and if he is, we have to use the cure on him." Shinobu said. 

A moment passed in silence. 

"You have my approval, Shinobu. However, you'll have to hear what the Hashira say to this." Kagaya responded. 

"Yes, master." 

"You may go now." 

Shinobu got up, bowed, knowing it would not be seen, and left the estate.

Shinobu then got back to the butterfly estate, and went to the room her and Tamayo were in. 

"Tamayo-san, I have told master about what we were talking about. He said we got his approval with attacking the temple, but first, we'll have to go find a demon and use the cure on it and seeing if it would work." Shinobu said to Tamayo. 

"Of course, Kocho-kun. We'll have to wait until the evening though. No demons, including me will be out at this time of the day." Tamayo responded.

"Yes, Tamayo-san. I know."

-Earlier, when Shinobu was walking towards the Ubayashiki mansion-

Sanemi and Obanai happened to be walking near the mansion, when they spotted Shinobu walking towards it. 

"Oi, what's she doing?" Sanemi asked, clueless. 

"She's going to see master, you dumbass," Obanai said. 

"Oh, yeah. I can totally see that. I'm not dumb you know." 

Yes you are dumb-

"Well, do you want to be nosy and hear what they're going to be talking about?" Sanemi asked.

"I know this would be a bad idea, but fine. I'm also curious." Obanai replied. 

They both stood near the closed gates, and kept their ears opened to hear what they were going to talk about. 

...

"Hello, Oyakata-sama. It is great to see you."

A moment passed.

"You sent a letter to me about how you want to organize a talk with me, what is it that you want to talk about?" Kagaya asked.

"It's about Tomioka-san. Me and Tamayo-san has finished the cure, but we haven't tried it yet. Is it okay if we try it on a demon when we see one before instantly killing it?" Shinobu said.

"Of course, Shinobu."

"You have my approval, Shinobu. However, you'll have to hear what the Hashira say to this." Kagaya responded.

"Yes, master."

"You may go now." 

When Kagaya said the last sentence, they hurried up and walked quickly away from the gates, and continued their "normal" day. 

"Well uhhh, since when did they come up with a cure? And that fast?" Sanemi questioned. 

"No shit Sherlock, they're both doctors, and they know their way around the medical field and stuff like that," Obanai said. 

"Yeah I totally knew that."
