Third Person Pov
Giyuu searched everywhere, very carefully. No demons. At all. That's when he decided to go back.
I still don't know why Muzan spared me like that. Why didn't he kill me right then and there? Why didn't he?!
He hurried back to the mansion.
With Shinobu
Yes, Tomioka-san was definitely cutting himself. Why? If he thinks he's much better than us, why is he doing this?
I was also informed by Tomioka-san's home village that he was mentally ill. I should tell master this.
Shinobu headed to Kagaya's mansion, and kneeled down
"Shinobu. I got your message from the crow. May I ask why you are here?" Kagaya asked with a weak voice.
"Oyakata-sama. It's about Tomioka-san." Shinobu said.
"What is it, my child?" Kagaya said.
"Well... it's not really good news. Two days ago, we visited Tomioka-san's house. We asked him if he was okay, and he smiled creepily and said yes. While leaving, I saw cuts on Tomioka-san's wrist. He never really got hurt on missions, and it looked really recent, the time before me and the other Hashira went to visit Tomioka-san. And I already told the other Hashira." Shinobu said.
"I see. Is there anything else, Shinobu?"
"Yes. I've gotten some... news. When Tomioka-san was little, his village said he was mentally ill from the way he acted. I don't know what he did, but they said he was mentally ill." Shinobu said.
"I am going to call a Hashira meeting. Shinobu, send your crow to Giyuu. Giyuu's crow often forgets the messages" Kagaya said.
"Yes master." Shinobu replied.
With Giyuu
Giyuu was just minding his business when he heard a Hashira meeting was called.
Oh, a meeting. I might as well go.
Giyuu walked to the Ubuyashiki mansion.
The other Hashira were already there, of course.
"Hello there Tomioka-san!" Kyojuro said in his usual loud voice.
Giyuu didn't say anything.
"Okay then-" Kyojuro said with a slightly quieter voice.
Kagaya has arrived
When the Hashira saw him, they all respectfully kneeled down.
"Oyakata-sama! It's great to see you in good health!" Mitsuri said.
"And it's also great to see you, Mitsuri." Kagaya said.
We just had a Hashira meeting two days ago, so this must be an urgent and serious meeting. Giyuu thought.
"So you all might be wondering why were are here, even though we have had a meeting only two days ago. I've gotten word that one of our own is mentally ill." Kagaya said with pity in his voice.
All the Hashira's eyes widened at the comment.
"What?! Who?!" Tengen asked loudly.
"That will be revealed in just a second." Kagaya said.
"The one who is mentally ill is... Giyuu Tomioka."
Giyuu's eyes widened.
Me!? But I'm not! Why is this all happening? Are they going to lock me up somewhere...?
"I'm... I'm not crazy." Giyuu said quietly.
Kagaya then signaled Shinobu with his head with a nod.
Shinobu then got out a syringe with sleeping medication, and injected it into Giyuu's arm.
I'm so sorry Tomioka-san... Shinobu thought.
No one bothered to shield Giyuu from hitting the ground. So he hit the ground with a thud.
"Poor soul..." Gyomei said, crying.
"Gyomei. Sorry for this task, but may you carry Giyuu while following Shinobu to the place he will be staying?" Kagaya said.
"Of course master." Gyomei said.
"You are all dismissed. Do what you like." Kagaya said.
"Come on Himejima-san, follow me." Shinobu said.
"Alright Kocho". Gyomei said.
Gyomei carried Giyuu, and then they reached the butterfly mansion.
He was led to the....basement?
"Himejima-san, please set Giyuu on this bed." Shinobu said.
And so of course Gyomei placed Giyuu on the bed.
"Thank you, Himejima-san. You may now do as you like" Shinobu said.
Gyomei then left out the mansion.
Still with Shinobu
He should probably change into a yukata. And I am definitely not doing it. I'll just leave a note and the yukata for him when he wakes up.
Shinobu wrote the note, then left the folded yukata neatly, and placed it at the foot of Giyuu's bed.
