Chapter 14: Hashira Meeting

With Giyuu and Douma 

Giyuu is waking up, and Douma is standing right above him starring down at his soul. 

What the fuck that fucking scared me, Giyuu thought. 

"Douma-dono you scared me-" Giyuu said. 

"Oh, sorry Giyuu-dono" Douma replied.

Where are the Hashira? Did Douma deal with them? Did he kill them perhaps? Maybe he did, must be it. Or maybe he left some of his dolls with them then took me. Giyuu thought. 

They were both now walking to the temple. 

Douma looks like he's dreaming about something. (Is it akaza? 👀👀). 

With Shinobu and Kyojuro

Well this wasn't very good. Struggling against something that isn't even the actual demon. This makes the Hashira look like jokes. 

Well aside from that, they didn't know how to get rid of these dolls. Maybe beheading? If it was, only Kyojuro could do it. Shinobu's blade wasn't exactly designed for beheading. 

It's was only a few minutes before the sun comes up, and maybe the sun can get rid of these dolls. 

Shinobu just couldn't wait until these dolls are gone. They were getting on her last nerve. 

She kept thinking about why Giyuu became a demon, an upper moon at that. Well, she thought a little about it, not much. 

The sun is coming up. She's glad. Maybe these annoying dolls can finally just go. 

And they did. 

"Good riddance." Shinobu said. 

"Well! They're finally gone! That's good!" Kyojuro said. 

"We'll have to go back to HQ, to tell Oyakata-sama and the others what happened." Shinobu said to Kyojuro. 

"Agreed!" Kyojuro responded loudly. 

Kyojuro and Shinobu then started running back to the mansion, sending a crow ahead of time.

Kagaya already called all the Hashira to the mansion before Shinobu and Kyojuro arrived, since their crow said that the message was urgent and that they needed the Hashira to be in one spot before Shinobu and Kyojuro arrived. 

All the Hashira were there, waiting for their master, Shinobu, and Kyojuro. 

Obanai was talking to Mitsuri, of course. Sanemi was sitting there and watching Obanai blushing. 

Muichiro was looking at the clouds, but they don't have any interesting shapes. What a pity. 

Gyomei was just praying and crying-

Tengen was also watching Obanai blush while he was talking to Mitsuri, to see how it goes down, but too bad nothing goes down, of course. 

"Sorry, everyone for the wait, but we are here!", Kyojuro said as he and Shinobu opened the gates.

"It's alright, Rengoku-san!" Mitsuri said.

Mitsuri then walked to Shinobu, and Kyojuro was then walking to Tengen and then started some small talk about how good  food tastes. 

"So, Shinobu-chan, what happened on your mission that we needed to be here? Was it something bad? Was it something about Tomioka-san?" Mitsuri asked. 

"Yes, Mitsuri-chan, it was something bad and Tomioka-san was there. You'll know more when Oyakata-sama arrives. 

"Okay!" Mitsuri said. 

"The master has arrived."

When the Hashira heard that, they hurried to their respective places. 

The two girls then helped lead their father. He looked towards the sky, as if he still had his vision. 

"Today must be a beautiful day. And with a clear blue sky? Even better." Kagaya said. 

"It is so good to see you, Oyakata-sama. I wish for you to have a continuous and great fortune" Sanemi said. 

Mitsuri had wanted to greet their master, but it seems like Sanemi has beaten her and the other Hashira to it. 

"Thank you, Sanemi. It is great you have you here." Kagaya said. 

"Shinobu, Kyojuro. You guys called us here, and why is that? Is it something about my child, Giyuu?" Kagaya asked. 

Shinobu spoke up, "Yes, Oyakata-sama. It is about Tomioka-san. It appears he was with upper moon two at the time, Douma. Upper two was strong, but I could tell he was goofing around, and not yet giving his all in the fight we had." 

"I see. Was there anything else that happened, my child?" Kagaya asked. 

"Well, it's really not that important, but Tomioka-san apparently said that we had something of his. I'm not really sure if he was referring to his haori, but I'm sure that's it. We don't have anything that belongs to Tomioka-san, only his haori." Shinobu replied. 

"Oh, alright." 

"Oyakata-sama! We also know more about Tomioka's blood demon art! It is quite strong!" Kyojuro said, loudly

Well of course it's strong he's upper four, Sanemi thought. 

"I also managed to drug him for only a little, but then he got away with the help of upper two. We're very sorry, Oyakata-sama." Shinbu apologized. 

"No did no wrong, my child. It's alright." Kagaya said, voice as soothing as always. It makes Shinobu's heavy chest feel light. 

"And that's all that happened, Oyakata-sama." Shinobu said. 

"Alright. You may all be dismissed now." Kagaya said. 

The Hashira bowed, still knowing that it would not be seen, and then left.
