Chapter 13: So it's you that killed her

Douma Pov 

Awhh I'm so bored, where is Giyuu-dono! He should be back, walks don't normally take that long, right? 

Or did he leave me? Ooh! Or did he run into some problems? Perhaps demon slayers? 

I better look for him, it's 4 hours until the sun rises. Not much time. 

Well, I'll be on my way now. 

I wish Akaza-dono was here, we could spend some time together! But too bad he wasn't. Awww, bummer. 

Finding Giyuu-dono with Akaza-dono would be so much fun!! 

With Shinobu and Kyojuro (3rd Person Pov)

"The place we're taking him to is pretty far, maybe hours to get there." Shinobu said to Kyojuro. 

"Oh, okay! It's alright though!" Kyojuro said, still carrying Giyuu. 

"So.. what do you want to talk about?" Shinobu suddenly asked. 

Kyojuro didn't know what to say. He is always talking but mostly never had a topic to talk about. 

"Uhh... Oh! How about we try to guess why Tomioka became a demon!" Kyojuro replied. 

"Oh! Sure Rengoku-san. I never really thought about why Tomioka-san became a demon. I'll just guess. I don't know, maybe Tomioka-san became a demon because he was sad? Maybe that was what drove him to become a demon, to destroy everything and us, because of what we done to him. Trap him, because apparently he had a mental illness? This is just a guess, Rengoku-san, not facts. Just what I think." Shinobu said. 

"Hmm, I gotta say, that's a pretty good guess! I don't know about that actually. Maybe he did? Something has also been on my mind, did he have a choice to become a demon? Because from what I know Muzan is very cruel and will force humans to become demons." Kyojuro said. 

"Huh, maybe. I don't know." Shinobu responded. 

But what they weren't aware of... someone was watching them. 

With Douma 

Wow, Giyuu-dono is knocked out? Or was he drugged? 

I'm pretty sure he was drugged, he doesn't get knocked out easily. Drugs are more difficult to resist. 

Wait.. Who's that girl? I recognize that haori from somewhere. 

She's pretty though. She'll be a good meal. 

Wait! No, focus, Douma!!- You have to get Giyuu-dono back.

But what Douma didn't know was that he was feeling a bit angry, and a bit serious.

Blood Demon Art. Lotus Vines. 

Douma created several lotuses made of ice and long frost vine that can extend his reach. It can capture or slice some opponents. It was going towards Shinobu, Kyojuro, and Giyuu. First, his lotus vines snatched Giyuu first, then slicing a bit of Kyojuro's arm. 

Who the heck- Shinobu thought. 

Then she looked back. 

She saw a demon with blood stains at the top of his head. And with a carefree smile. She also a pair of fans. 

This must be the brat who killed my sister. I will be sure to let him suffer, nee-san. 

"Oh! Hello there!" the demon said. 

He's also speaking in a calm and gentle manner. This must be him. 

"I don't want to do much here, just wanting to get Giyuu-dono back. I wondered where he has gone." Douma said. "But then, encountering demon slayers, Hashira at that, and a girl!" 

"What, are you interested in girls? A pervert perhaps? (sorry i had to do it)", Shinobu said. 

"Um, no! Girls, especially young girls just taste so good, and they also give me a lot of strength and power!" Douma replied. 

Yeah this brat is definitely a pervert-

"Normally I'm not angry, wait, I'm never angry. But now... I'm very angry. I will kill you or leave you to writhe in pain or maybe watch you suffer when you writhe to your death." Douma said (angrily). 

He then suddenly dashed forwards, opened both of his fans, then slashed both Kyojuro and Shinobu. 

He slashed Shinobu in her stomach, and Kyojuro at his shoulder. It was painful for only a bit, but they managed to resist using their breathing. 

Douma didn't want to spend too much time here, they might call for backup or other Hashira to go kill him and Giyuu. 

So, Douma used his blood demon art to just freeze, them, and make them cold, it can freeze their eyeballs if they're not careful, so he does that. 

Blood demon art, freezing clouds. 

He fans his fans and creates a wave of cold wind, also using his fans to scatter them. 

Kyojuro and Shinobu weren't expecting this, but their reaction speed was good, so they closed their eyes in time, causing his blood demon art not to freeze their eyeballs. 

"Huh, thought you wouldn't react quick enough to close your eyes. Oh well! I'm kind of bored. So I'll go now. But, instead of playing with me you can play with these children instead!" Douma said. 

"Blood demon art, Crystalline divine child." 

"Well, I'll be going now!" Douma said. Then left carrying Giyuu. 

I guess he's drugged. 

I've never felt angry before, so why did I feel angry? Are these emotions? 

No, nonsense. Emotions don't exist for me. 

With Shinobu and Kyojuro 

It's a shame I didn't land a hit on him, he was too fast. I just wanted to poison him a bit, even if he's an upper moon it probably won't work. 

"Any idea how to get rid of these dolls, Kocho?" Kyojuro asked. 

"No idea", Shinobu said. 

Then, one of the dolls started using... blood demon arts?! But how?! 

How.... Shinobu and Kyojuro thought. 

"Even blood demon arts can be used not even by the upper moon himself, but can be used by  the blood demon art? Now that doesn't even make sense" Kyojuro said. 

"I mean he's an upper moon, he's very powerful", Shinobu responded while dodging one of the doll's attacks.
