The accident

Elizabeth's POV:

"Mommy! " Grace yelled when she saw me. Me and Robbie went to NYC for a day or two and we didn't want Grace to tavel much so we left her with my mom again...

She wasn't happy about it but after seeing the bunny plushie we got her she was less sad.

"Hi baby did you miss us? " I said as I lifted her up.

"Yes! Grandma made me cookies! " she said with a big smile. "Did she now. " she nodded.

"Were you nice to grandma? " "Yes! I took my medicine to! " she said and I nodded.

"Thank you mom. " I said to my mom who was getting ready to leave. "

"Of course any time hunny. I love to look after her she's just like you to. " she said as she hugged me.

We sad our goodbyes and after afew more hugs she left.

"Where's daddy? " she asked looking behind me. "Daddy went to get some stuff he'll be back soon. " I said as I picked her up and sat on the sofa.

"I named my bunny mommy. " she said putting the bunny to my face. I chuckled and pushed it down out of my face.

"Really what's its name? " I said stroking her hair.

"Cotton! " I made a shocked face. "Cotton? "

She hummed with a smile. "Because she's soft like cotton! " I smiled as I listened to all the things she had to say.

"Have you had any problems hun? " I said as my hand lingered on top of her heart. "Only alittle its okay. " she said and then immediately continued talking about something else.

I just had a sad smile as she talked. "Okay! Who wants takeout! " I heard Robbie yell.

She entered the living room with food in his hand and Grace hopped off my lap. "Daddy! What you get? " she said as she ran to him.

"I got you a cheese burger princess. " he said and put the bag on the dinner table.

I stood up and walked to them as Robbie sat Grace on a chair. He gave her a fry and she started to eat it.

I sat next to her as Robbie sat down to. Grace stuffed her mouth in the burger which was big and she looked so cute.

She took a bite and when she pulled the burger away her mouth was covered in sause. "Daddy why are you laughing? " she said with a frown as Robbie started to laugh.

"Nothing nothing. " he said as he took a tissue and swiped her mouth.

Grace cuddled into me as I looked through my phone. Robbie was next to me watching some TV. I looked at Grace and saw her trying to keep her eyes open.

I checked the clock and it was around 4pm."you can sleep baby. " I whispered into her ear and not long after she fell asleep.

I poked Robbie's arm and he looked at me. "I need to take a shower so can take Grace. " I said and he nodded.

He slowly took Grace off my lap she whined when she was lifted off. Robbie put her on his chest and patted her back.

I stood up and went upstairs to take a shower.

I took a shower and put some clothes on. I dried my hair abit with a towel and went back down stairs.

Grace was still on Robbie's lap sleeping while he watched some show. I came up to him from behind and kissed his cheek and he looked at me.

Robbie gave Grace to me so he could clean up to. "Cold... " I heard Grace mumble. Which was weird since it was abit hot out.

I put my arms around Grace.

She woke up at around 6pm. "Hi mommy... " she said as she looked up at me with her sleepy eyes. I chuckled "Hi baby. " she let out a little sigh and looked around.

She got off my lap and got on her feet but she wobbled abit and fell on her bum. "Off." She said when she did.

"You okay? " I asked as I lifted her up onto her feet. She held onto my hands to gain her balance back.

"I spun. " She said and I just looked at her. She took Cotton and went to the corner of the living room that had some toys.

20th of August (google said thats when school starts in LA California. I don't live in America so)

Robbie went to the studio so it was my job to take Grace to her first day of kindergarten. She was very happy about it since she was starting to get bored at home.

I had to lecture her about taking her medicine and told her teacher about it to. We had to go to her doctor a few times because she fainted but she was thankfully good after a stay.

"Okay I'll come to pick you up after school okay. Don't go with anyone and only wait for me. " I said as I fixed her top.

She nodded and happily went inside. I looked around and saw afew kids crying but Grace was the complete opposite entering with a wide smile.

Grace's POV:

The teacher helped me put away my bag and I went to where the other kids were.

I sat to a corner with Cotton in my arms.

"Hi! " a girl said walking up to me. "Hello." I said looking up at her. She smiled and sat next to me "What's your name? Mine is Allie. " she said.

"Grace." "Want to he friends? " she asked getting closer to me. I nodded and she smiled wide. We played for the rest of the day. We ate lunch and then the teacher called me awhile later.

She came to me with my box of meds. "I hate that... " I mumbled as she took out the ones I needed. "Why? " Allie who was next to me asked. "Aren't they candy. Can I have one of your candies? " she asked and the teacher laughed.

"Oh Allie they aren't candies. Their Grace's medicine so you cant take them. " she said with a smile and then looked at me.

"Okay Grace your mom said you had to take these no matter what so please. " she said and gave me the pills.

I huffed and put them and swallowed them one by one. "Ooo did you swallow it without biting. " Allie said and I nodded.

"Your not supposed to eat them." She hmmed and we continued playing.

"Grace... " I heard mommy's voice say. I looked up and she was there to pick me up. "Is that your mommy? " Allie said and I nodded. "Bye bye. " I said as I walked away.

She waved bye as my teacher helped me put my backpack on. "Did you have fun? " Mommy asked me as we walked to the car. "Yes! I had alot of fun. What did you do without me? " I asked her.

"Well I just sat all alone in the house. " she said with a sad smile. "Daddy is still at work? " I asked and she nodded. "Mommy I'm here now let's play together. " I said and she laughed "Okay hunny. " she said and strapped me in.

She got into the drivers seat and drove home.

Elizabeth's POV:

Grace talked about what she did today with a huge smile on her face as we drove home.
