___ smiled as they sat down. It was their favorite time of the day, Lunch. Ever since Dustin and Mike had joined the Hellfire Club, both ___ and Robin would sit at the opposite end of the same table. They left enough space so Eddie didn't get up in arms about them 'looking like part of the club' but they were close enough to talk to their friends. Recently, those friends had multiplied.

Not only did they make friends with the founding members of the D&D club, but Chrissy Cunningham had also recently joined their mismatched group. None of the others seemed to mind after getting to know her, she was lovely, but she got a bad rep because of who she formerly hung out with. Ever since she had ended things with Jason Carver, the other cheerleaders and popular assholes had begun to shun her slowly. So when Dustin offered her a helping hand, she couldn't refuse. Dustin seemed to attract many people to their little oddball group.

So there they sat, the nerds of Hellfire, the former queen of Hawkins High, a closeted lesbian, and the mildly forgettable one. The party sat there and talked about whatever subject came up. Eventually, Jason decided he'd had enough of their happiness on display and decided to very loudly start insulting Chrissy and Eddie, along with the other few 'freaks' names he didn't really care to know. ___ rolled their eyes, being the closest to their table. They plopped their chin into their hand, turning to face the others who were obviously trying their best to ignore it.

His ranting and raving went on for a considerable amount of time, enough to irk ___. They kept trying to draw their focus back to the conversation at hand but they had gotten fed up with his prissy whining. "I'm gonna kill him, I swear to Gods."

Robin rolled her eyes at them, "Just ignore him. He's just mad because he's embarrassed."

"Yea, but you keep saying that and that it'll 'blow over', but it's been a month. I'm gonna beat his ass if he doesn't shut up," ___'s head sunk into their arms, crossing them to keep from touching the questionably cleaned table.

"He'll get over it soon enough," Chrissy's ever-chipper voice chirped over at the frustrated figure. They gave another moment of silence before standing abruptly. The sound of the metal chair legs scraping against the linoleum flooring echoed and garnered the attention of the whole cafeteria.

"What are you doing?" Robin hissed, reaching to grab at their arm. They moved out of her reach just before she could, looking over all of their friends staring back at them. "I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind, seeing as he won't stop giving us his."

They marched over to the end of Jason's table, standing opposite him as the basketball team and cheerleaders glared back at them. "What do you want, freak?"

"Look, we get it, Chrissy broke up with you. Wah wah," They mocked an overdramatic baby cry at him, face deadpanning a second later, "But seriously, get over yourself. You two are over and she's moved on. I think it's time you did too because this is just getting pathetic at this point." Jason stood from his chair, rounding the table and coming face to face with them. "Look, save yourself the further embarrassment and just shut the fuck up!" ___ smirked as they dropped their hands to their sides, amusement finding their features as they watched Jason seeth.

"Just because you couldn't satisfy her in any sense of the word," They let their eyes rake over Jason's glowering figure before meeting his gaze once more, "Doesn't mean the rest of us want to hear your pathetic whining. I mean, it really is getting pathetic at this point. All I hear is 'poor me' with my tiny dick and bitch ass attitude-" They could barely finish the word when Jason swung, connecting his fist with their jaw.
