~ thursday, 16:25 / park ~

beomgyu sat by the swing, waiting for taehyun. since taehyun had told him earlier to wait for him by the park after his last class for the day. beomgyu gently swings himself, singing a song under his breath, whilst he observes the few people that were strolling by the park as well.

“i'm sorry, did you wait long?”

he looks behind and smiles as he was greeted with a smiling taehyun, who was a also trying to catch his breath and was slightly sweating despite the cold temperature.

beomgyu stood up from the swing and walks in front to the huffing taehyun. “no, i just got here.” that was a lie — he was waiting for twenty minutes and was feeling a bit cold. of course he wouldn't say that; since he doesn't want taehyun to blame himself.

“sorry, yeonjun hyung asked for my help and i didn't notice it!” “it's alright, hyunnie!”

taehyun looks away, slightly flustered because of the nickname the older boy called him. he shooks his head and pulls out a small box from his bag, placing it on beomgyu's hand.

beomgyu looked at the box that was on his grip, clearly confused. taehyun just chuckled out of embarrassment, “i saw it a few days ago and decided to buy it, since i figured you might like it.”

beomgyu giggles and hugged the younger boy with such cheeky smile, “you really didn't have to, but thank you anyways!”

beomgyu pulls away from the hug and kissed his lover on the cheek. taehyun just smiled, slowly growing comfortable with beomgyu's touchy nature.

~ 23:45 / taehyun's bedroom ~

taehyun couldn't remember the last time he finds himself smiling like this. he wasn't able to help his smile from showing. it felt nice to have someone by your side.

taehyun proceeds to breat his face with his pillow as his cheeks start to hurt since he had been smiling for too much today. just by the events to day, he felt like all his problems had magically disappeared.

he felt himself at ease when it comes to choi beomgyu. how adorable.

for the first time in such long years, he felt himself becoming comfortable once again. he was comfortable with his home. and his home was choi beomgyu.
