~ thursday, 17:42 / taehyun's bedroom ~

taehyun sat on his bed; his hands gripping tightly on the bedsheets on his side, staring on the polaroid photo of him and beomgyu that was laying on the floor. his vision was slightly blurry due to the tears that were running down on his face from his eyes, yet he doesn't find himself sobbing in such pain he was feeling. the room was dimly lit, and the only things taehyun could hear was the ticking from the clock.

he had been like this for the past few days. just when he thought he was slowly getting better, he once again finds himself spiraling into insanity.

for the past few days, he had ignored every messages and call from his friends, including the ones from beomgyu.

taehyun refused to visit beomgyu in the hospital. he told his lover excuses after excuses. not matter how much taehyun misses lover, he couldn't bear himself to look or know the state of what his lover was in.

a soft knock was herd from his bedroom door. taehyun quickly wiped his eyes and looked at the doorway — and there stood his aunt with such worry on her face.

she walks up to him and sits beside taehyun, hugging him from the side, comforting him, “why don't you come down? dinner's ready.”

taehyun didn't answer, instead, he just leaned on his aunt's touch, finding himself in tears again. eunseo sigh and gently brushed taehyun's hair.

“you know... earlier, beomgyu called me again. he was missing you, and said he wants to see you. he kept asking me when will you visit him.”

just by the mention of his lover's name felt like a nail was pierced through his heart. the feeling of being once again left alone was slowly coming back to haunt him again, and what happened to beomgyu only sparked more fear and anxiousness into him.

eunseo just sighs, standing up and helds taehyun's hand, gently pulling him to stand up, “come on, let's head down and eat, you haven't been eating properly for the past few days.”

eunseo was like his mother. the mother he wished he could've had. the mother that he had always wanted.

~ friday, 16:24 / hospital ~

“what are you doing here, kang taehyun?” beomgyu glared at the slightly younger boy, his arms were crossed and was trying to look intimating. taehyun just sat there on the bed next to a angry beomgyu, in such silent. desperately trying to stop himself to cry and held beomgyu in his arms as if there was no longer tomorrow.

beomgyu exclaimed, lightly hitting taehyun on the shoulder so childishly, “you could've answered my text or pick up my calls!”

and that was the point where taehyun couldn't help himself.

he wrapped his arms around his lover and hugged him tightly, letting his tears stream down his eyes, sobbing — which caught beomgyu off guard. beomgyu slowly wraps his arms around taehyun's shoulder, playing with his hair as an attempt to calm taehyun down.

“i was so... scared...”

all beomgyu could do was smile.

a sorrowful smile.

“i'm here... i'll always be by your side.”
