☆Chapter 8☆

☆Monas POV☆

《3 year time skip》

It was the day before Christmas.

Dallas was playing with his sisters in the living room and Reggie was attempting to make a shepards pie for tomorrow.

During these years my Sirius shaped hole in my heart was now filled. It took me years to move on but I was happy.

My children were happy and safe, that's all I care about.

''Mom, can you come play with us?'' Dallas asked walking in to my room with his sisters, ''Yeah pleeeease mom!'' Theodora whined while Astrid nodded in a agreeing way.

''Only if Reggie is going to play aswell,'' I said crossing my arms and their eyes lit up, ''IM GONNA GET UNCLE REGULUS'' Theodora yelled out before running out of my room.

As we sat in the living room Theodora managed to quite literally drag Reggie into the living room.

''I told you that I could do it'' she said putting her one hand on her hip and the other pointing at Reggie.

After a long serious debate which at one point broke out into a fight, in the end we ended up playing mix of hide and seek and tag.

The point of it is you hide if the seeker finds you, you still have a chance and you can run if the seeker gets you, you automatically lose. Sounds pretty easy.

After some more debating Reggie ended up being the seeker.

I hid behind the bed frame, you couldn't see me from afar and if needed I had many ways to run.

I heard Astrid get caught first, some time later Dallas was caught i could tell it was him because of the loud 'SON OF A-' 'LANGUEGE' going through the house. Theodora was caught about 10 minutes later mostly because she is a very fast runner.

I was the last man standing and making me win for the first time because I cant run fast or hide very well. I could heard Regulus attempt to sneak into the room but failed to keep his cover because he tripped over a chair.

''There you are Mo' don't even try to run we both know you suck at it.''

But I still took my chances at it getting up and sprinting of through the other side laughing loudly like a child.

Reggie caught up pretty fast grabing me by my waist stopping me from running and I broke into an even bigger laughter which Regulus eventually joined in.

''Mama, Reggie look it's snowing again!'' I heard Astrid  yell from the living room.

''Maybe we could go play in the snow? Please mom, I won't get sick i promise!'' Astrid whined as we walked into the living room, ''fine go get dressed.'' I eventually gave in.

Astrid gets sick very easily and it always takes a really long time to get well. Every time we needed to go to the hospital. She gets very high fevers, sometimes struggles breathing, gets nasty coughs and vomits endlessly.

After getting dressed aswell we went to the garden we had behind the house.

We played in the snow till it got dark outside, we built many snowmen and had endless snowball fights.

After getting back from outside we had some hot chocolate and put kids in bed me and Reggie stayed up for a while talking about everything, about our time at Hogwarts and just joked around like usually.

☆Regulus' POV☆

Playing outside in the snow was a blast.

It took me a while to put Dallas asleep he kept talking how exciting today was and how he cant wait to open all those gifts tomorrow.

After all of that me and Mo' stayed up talking. She gave me advice on what I should do about one thing- Casper Bowen. He was the most gentle and honest person I've ever met, even tho he lived on the other side of England we still meet up alot tho. Dallas and the Twins adored him aswell.

I thought about proposing to him alot lately, but I was scared on what he is going to think about me being a wizard and all.

But all I know is that I loved him.
