Ah yes Christmas eve, my favourite holiday. A holiday when family gathers and share these little happy moments.
'' Everyone smile!'' I said excitedly poiting the camera at everyone.
Its been a tradition for years to wear ugly Christmas sweaters and take photos in this household.
Reggie and Cas' were sitting on the floor, Caspers head on Reggies shoulder.
Jupiter was standing up showing of her brand new cat that she found in the streets a day before. Poor thing was living on the streets for years.
Astrid and Theodora were lying on the ground side-by-side laughing their arses of because of some stupid dad joke Casper said a moment before.
And Dallas was slouching behind Reggie and Cas, fake gagging at their sweet sweet love that they were showing of.
It might be chaotic but thats what made this so warming and comforting.
We managed to get the whole house for ourselves for today, yes we managed to get the idiots out of the house by bribing them. Well Jupiter managed. Merlin that child has to teach me some of these things.
After having our meals, which was provided by Dallas and Astrid (with some help from Reggie), we finally went to open presents.
I was shocked that Sirius had bought a gift for the children and Reggie.
Jupiter ended up getting a brand new broom from him.
Theodora got a brand new paints and canvases.
Astrid a georgous white owl.
And Dallas got a bunch of new sweaters and a pair of sneakers.
When I look at it now I can see that he really tried to get closer to them.
Christmas passed so did new years and children had to leave again for Hogwarts, the ''safest'' place for anyone.
This time it felt like I shouldn't let them go. Something felt of, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Dallas kept reassuring me that they will be fine.
Dallas was to kind for this world and to smart. He could see right through people sometimes, not hesitated to help anyone and like I mentioned before he is very smart. Maybe to smart for his own good.
