9: Noodles or death

Remember that whole restock situation? Yeah you totally forgot to count carrots and a few other ingredients. You were in too much of a rush to see how Macaque was doing, and now Pigsy and Tang was out shopping for ingredients in the market. You had been put on babysitting duty of Mk the shop was open ofcourse, but today was one of the slow days anyways. Your were just happy that Pigsy trusts you enough with the shop, the orders werent too hard to do. There was only really regulars and pigsy left when there was a few hours left of the work day, all was good. There was one last order that would get picked up at any moment now, it was one of those pick up orders. "Can i get the bill please" said the last customer in the store, putting on the best worker smile you head over to him with the bill. "Right here sir, do you want anything to go or will that be all" he smiled and shaked his head a no, then paid in cash. Taking the money you put it in the register and thank him for eating at the shop. He smiles and walks off, and now you were alone in the shop. There was still around 30 minutes before closing hours, either you could start cleaning or wait and make sure that you were by the counter when the person coming to get the order arrives. You ended up cleaning the tables, first the counter then the sitting booths in the shop. Mk came home from training and his delivery duties at around 15 min before closing. You were honstly thinking that this person might not come and get their order. "I got some good news Mk" you said while the said boy was walking up the stairs. "What?" He shouted, now being around the middle of the staircase. "We got someone that haven't come yet so we might get some noodles!" You yelled back to him, making sure he could hear it. That gave a quick "WOO" from the boy. You had officially cleaned all the surfaces, and now there was 10 minutes left. You went on with your closing work with washing some dishes. You had placed a bell by the counter so if the person ordering the noodles came, then he could simply just ring the bell and you would be right out. After 5 minutes you heard the bell ring, immediately you let go of the bowl you were cleaning and went over to the counter. The last person you expected to be grabbing some food was Macaque, he normally had it ordered to his house. "Here I thought you wouldn't show up, but you did 5 minutes before closing time" he smiled at you, almost amused by something. As if telling you he knew something and yet not saying word about what it was. He just grabbed the noodles and handed you the money, waving a quick goodbye. "Did you just ignore me?" You asked the male. "No I just needed to see if you were okay, you never know in this city" what does that even mean, maybe you should check on Mk. Thus without another exchange of words, you rushed up to check on Mk who was sleeping peacefully. First person that gets in danger normally check, now it's just with the rest. As much as you would want to check the rest, it had already gotton dark and you shift wasn't over. It could wait, you had dishes to do in order for pigsy not to be stressed in the morning. Speaking of the pig, he hadn't come home from the market yet. You hoped he and Tang just decided to have a sleep over at Tangs house or something along those lines. Going upstairs to you and Mk's apartment, you head to the small bathroom and begin brushing your teeth. After your nightly routine was done, you headed straight to bed. Throwing yourself at your bed and looking up at the ceiling, the color of the roof slowly fading as you close your eyes for sleep.

You were happy you had a internal clock, because else you would have been late. Mk on the other hand did not, and you had to rustle him awake. The poor boy Began taking stances and everything thinking you were in danger. "Where is the culprit??? keep calm y/n, monkie kid will deal with it" his momentary sleepy daze then faded, and he was looking even more confused. "The alarm clock broke, we are going to be late" you say nonchalant to the brunette. "LATE, oh no pigsy is totally going to fire me this time" and dashing went Mk, lets hope pigsy does not give him too big of a scolding. As the overprotective dad pigsy was, he really wanted Mk to know how much work was important. You took your time getting ready, it wasn't too off of the time schedule. Mk misunderstood your statement when you said late, you weren't late late. "Y/n have you seen pigsy?! He isn't down stairs" that was concerning. Running down the stairs, you look over to the kitchen seeing no pig demon inside. Something was definitely wrong, looking over to the other person in the room. "Did see pigsy get home Mk?" Mk shaked his head seeming to think, you didn't recall him coming home either. You kinda shoved it off because you were tired, but now thinking back at Macaques words and weird behavior a chill was beginning to run up your spine. "What if he didn't come home from the market" you questioned almost to yourself and Mk was quick to add two and two together "Pigsy and Tang had a sleepover!" You had forgotten for a moment that Mk is Mk. "No, wouldn't Tang be here to talk about monkey king? What if they got kidnapped!" Now Mk also looked worried. "SO PIGSY IS MISSING? WE HAVE TO TELL THE OTHERS" shrieked Mk, before taking your hand and running towards the 'sea crate base' its name, still making you cackle sometimes. There was no time for giggling at stupid base names, right now all you were focusing on was pigsy and tangs whereabouts. All this being dragged by Mk, who obviously was in better shape than you was begining to show. Your face having an immense amount of sweat already building up, your breath slowly getting more ragged in the constant fast moving pace. This was going to be an eventfull day. Your running session came to a stop, when you finally had almost bashed the door in just t6w413o go inside. "GUYS PIGSY IS MISSING" Mk shouted, the other two looked rather uninterested "pssst, missing whadya mean missing" mei stated. She was laying upside down, her eyes looking more focused on her game than the panicking brunette. "What i mean is he didn't open shop today!" Mk shouted, "Nor did he come home yesterday, so its not like he is sick" you add to his statment. Both sandy and Mei looked totally shocked, instantly dropping what he is doing. "But he has never not opened the store before, not even when he was sick" sandy was kow looking even more devastated. "HE HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED" Mk and sandy was at this point out of the question of helping. Both freaking out, Mei however had other plans. She rushed over to some desk, pressing a button to get some sort of video up. It looked like Tangs point of veiw, looking at pigsy's back. "Hey ! Wait thats pigsy, phew hr just went shopping" Mk said, looking at the clueless brunette who apparently did not undersyand that pigsy went sjopping yesterday only to never come home. "He didn't come home though" you pondered out loud. "Wait who is filming this?" Sandy asked. "Its Tang!" Mk answered, "I realized that Tang is also missing" he probably was, you didn't see him everyday but it was definitely a Suspicion you had. "What is this" Mk finally questioned, looking suspiciously at Mei. " oh you know, i just kinda installed cameras on all of you guys a while back, not so creepy now is it?" Mei did a little funny question voice to the end of her obviously creepy confession. "Its a little creepy" Mk said. "I'd go with plain creepy" you mumbled, at this point the video escalated and pigsy and Tang ended up being in some weird hole. Just when you thought it couldn't get worse, it was a spider demon. That resulted in Mk throwing a little rant at how disgusting spiders were, you were still kinda on the whole camera thing. You and a certain someone had been hanging out, and you weren't intended for the rest to find out. You would inevitably be called a bad guy if they found out, and that's no fun. Atleast not when pigsy's shop was also your residents, you would have to move apartments. " (Y/n)! you coming?" Asked Mk, you must have zoned out. "No, I'm sorry I can't I fear the dark" you shuddered a bit at your stament hoping he would but it. "Okay, we will see you when we have kicked some demon butt" Mk smiled, his smile quickly faded when he added a "spider demon butt" you could only describe his face as disgust, before he and the trio rushed out to the rescue, taking some form of water gliding machine as their transportation.
