Byron's POV:
It was 9:35..It was too late for a high school student to be wandering about at that time.It must have been something urgent if Brielle called me to meet her .
20 minutes later I saw her...
I felt my heart beat racing.Only the sight of her face was enough for me to know how much I loved her .From all the other girls I met,she WAS different but she was different in a unique way.Had'nt I cared for her the first day I saw her in the city,I surely wouldn't have rescued her from the mad man.My ignorance stopped me from talking to her at the hospital.The first day of school,the last English lesson,the project work,I could never take my eyes of her from the beginning.Her kindness changed me for the better,her seriousness gave me a ray of hope.
As she got out of the car,I saw tears ran down her face.It shattered my heart to see her in tears . Whether I was the cause or not,I couldn't stand seeing her in such a condition.She ran towards me and gave me a tight hug.At first I lost my balance and stumbled backwards a bit but it didn't take me long to comfort her.I felt her hands wrapped around my chest and leaned closer to her and whispered in her ear.
"It'll be alright"
I could feel her pain and ended up shedding a tear or two.I wish she never let go .I just wanted the world to be completely silent ,I wanted the rain to stop ,I wanted time to stop so that I'll be stuck in that moment.
Eventually I broke loose of the emotional moment we had and drove her home.Before she left,looking tired of crying and soaked up with rain I walked close and gently kissed her cheek.

After crying my heart out into Byron's shirt,he gave me a kiss on my cheek and I felt my heart jumping out of my chest.I walked into Darien's house with swollen eyes and with my wet clothes.Darien saw me and came running when he saw me shivering.
"Where were you?".
"I- I w- was w- with o- one of my relatives"I stupidly stammered
"You're soaked and shivering.Sit down at the fire place"
He helped me sit down and wrapped a blanket around me as he left to the kitchen to make tea for me.
"Why did you return so late".
"Look Darien,I really want to go to sleep now .Please no more questions."
He suddenly took me in his arms and carried me upstairs,as our faces were only inches away.
He laid me on my bed and brought me clothes to wear .
After I changed,he wrapped me with blankets and quietly said "Good night" before leaving the room .
