• • • "Here we are"I said putting the trays on the table "Today's menu is fried chicken and buttermilk and my famous banana-chocolate ice cream ".I say proudly throwing my hair in the air like I knew what I was doing as I walked back to the kitchen.
•.°•.°•.°•.°•.°•.°•.° Itwas 6:30.Thedoorbell rang and Mrs arison opened the door and welcomed the guests.Four ladies walked in and gosh, they looked like gods.Two of them wore a black long dress and I could swear one of them resembled Lisa from Blackpink .

Two other ladies walked in ,one of them was wearing a deep blue dress and the other lady wore a light blue dress. Mrs arison welcomed them and led them to the dinner table where I had already prepared some fancy food for them .Fried Chicken and buttermilk, potatoes and veggies and some fruits and ice cream for dessert.
• • • As I placed the trays on the table,I turned to the ladies and said "Boneappleteeth "I said before covering my mouth akwardly "Sorry,I meant to say Bon appétit"I smiled walking away feeling humiliated . An hour went by and the ladies were "bidding their goodbye " as some people would say . They thanked Darien's mom for the dinner and left .Now it was only Mrs arison and I that were sitting in the living room.
"Ma'am?"I said turning to her
"Yes dear?"
"I wanted to talk to you about something..."
"Sure.What is it ?" She asked putting her phone away and turning to me
"Well...I met my dad here in Paris but he's in a old warehouse and he might be in danger .So I'm asking you for help...I'm just asking you to send someone there so they can take him to the hospital to have a DNA test"
"But dear,if he's your father,why must he do a DNA test?"
"Ma'am, I'm just asking you for this one thing ..People are after him .Please help me .Please?!" I asked helplessly
"I'll send someone there to bring him to the hospital.But you have to tell me the reason behind all this after he's taken the DNA test,is that clear?"
"Yes ma'am!Thank you so much"I said almost exploding out of joy
"Fine"she shook her head in agreement "I'll send someone right now ,then you can visit your dad first thing in the morning"
"Thank you"I smiled gratefully as I skipped to my room
• ♥ • ♥ • It was 5:30 a.m.I was awoken by the constant buzzing of my phone when I finally looked At my phone after ignoring it for the past 30 minutes.I shook my head while blushing at the text messages Byron had been sending me .
BYRON:Good morning angel-4:59
BYRON:Still sleeping?-5:10
BYRON: Everything okay?-5:25
BYRON: Should I come over?-5:28
BYRON:HELLO?Bri answer me already!!!-5:30
ME:Hi. I'm fine!No need to come over!.I'm not living in my own house yk:].Going to meet my dad soon!I'll tell you what the DNA test say when I see em?!
BYRON: Okay:) . Can't wait to see you !
ME:I have to leave for the hospital.See you later?
BYRON:Of course angel.
I blushed before putting down the phone and rushing to the bathroom.After taking a bath,I take out one of my favorite mom jeans with an oversized shirt and straightened my hair down before going downstairs to have breakfast.
"Looking bad brooks"Darien said while pouring milk into his cereal
"Where's Natalie at?"I asked in a imitating tone
"I'm going to eat my food in my room"he said rolling his eyes and walking upstairs,before slamming his door so it could be heard in the entire house. 'Thank god he left' I thought to myself before hearing the doorbell ring
I walked to the door and opened it only to see Byron standing right in front of me.
"What are you doing here!?"I asked walking in front of him and closing the door behind me
"I came to drive you to the hospital since you're too young to drive"he said smirking
"Don't tease about it"I said angrily as I punched his chest
"Okay umm..I'll go take my purse and come okay?" He nodded and I ran to my room taking my purse before running back outside
"Let's go"he said smiling as we walked to his black Mercedes
"Byron..."I suddenly stopped him and he turned to me
"What's wrong angel?"he asked confused
"I can't go to the hospital with a car like this ...People may think that Beyonce is coming to their hospital..."
"Why would anyone think that?Come Bri let's go?"he said holding my hand and pulling me towards the car
"No.Lets just take a cab,Please!" I begged
"Fine"he said annoyed and we ordered A cab
It wasn't a long drive and we finally arrived at the hospital.I ran inside and asked one of the nurses if they knew where my dad was being treated but she didn't know so I started running around and opening all the doors, checking if my dad was there.
