When we were done cleaning,I made my way to my room but Natalie was still standing there, smiling.

This brat could'nt leave me alone .

"I feel sorry for you"she said walking around me just like they do in movies,when the villain is about to reveal something shocking to the good guy.
"You might be head over heals in love with Darien but be can never feel the same way"

I scoffed,"Just because you're too stupid to be around literally ANYONE , doesn't mean you have to keep lieing to yourself.Who will ever be interested in you?"

"That's why".

"Huh?"

"Darien hasn't told you the truth yet, right?"

I shrugged,"What's there to talk about ?"

"Well,from the first day you saw me ,you might have thought I was just a "guest".She said putting emphasis on the word guest.
"From the first day you might have thought I was being a clingy sister to Darien.At home and school but I'm not his sister.I'm his girlfriend."

"Why the hell should I believe you?"

"I knew you wanted proof so here it is"She said showing me a picture of them kissing on her phone.

At this point,I just didn't have the energy to argue.
Feeling dizzy,I saw the world around me turning darker and I fell to the floor.

Yep,I fell unconscious.

The last thing I heard was footsteps, Darien's voice calling out to me,and Natalie and him arguing.

I don't know how long I was unconscious but it felt like days.
No.Years.

"Am I dead?"I mumbled

"You're fit as a fiddle"I heard a voice say, opening my eyes as I saw a smiling Audrey sitting right next to me on the hospital bed .

I gave her a weak smile before asking

"Why are you here ?Am I back in Paris?"

She laughed, "Silly! You're still in New York!But damn,you didn't tell me the guy you were staying with is hotter than my boyfriend"

"I don't want to talk about him"I said watching out the window

"Is that how you treat your Best friend after not seeing her for a long time?"

I giggled ,"I missed you dumbo"

"Same here bitch.I might be going back today,but I'm glad I saw you".
She sighed,"Although I wish I didn't have to see you in this condition".

"Why so soon?Who told you I wasn't keeping well anyway?

"Actually...I told you I'm on vacation but I've been here for the past 6 days. I'm just a tourist here yk.I wanted to tell you but I thought you were too busy with school.Sorry"

"It's fine.You wouldn't have loved coming to my school anyways"I rolled my eyes

"That bitch is there,I know"

"Shhh.Keep your voice down! You're in a hospital and can't be saying everything that comes your way"

"Sorry"she whispered and rolled her eyes .
Now that was the Audrey I knew.
"But you have to admit,she is a bitch"

I sighed ,"I'm happy we're on the same page".

There was a knock on the door and the doctor walked in .

"Sorry to disturb you but Brielle has another visitor"

Audrey shrugged,"I can't stay long anyways.Thanks doc for letting me stay"she said giving me a light pat on the shoulder

As she stood by the door looking back to me one last time
"I don't know if you're mom's okay.I called her but she didn't pick up.I'm not helping.I know.Sorry."
I could see the sadness as she looked away
"Well,I'll see you soon?".

"That's right"I said ,forcing a smile.

Audrey left and I wanted this day to be my funeral when I saw Byron walk in.

"God kill me"I said turning my face away

"I just came to check up on you.I said I'm sorry,okay?Can we leave that in the past now?"

"No.You're my past"

"Why are you so stubborn?"

"Why are you so stupid?Should I record a audio and send it to you?WE ARE OVER.Leave."

"You can clearly see I'm still worried about you and you're pushing me away?Don't act like this.I know you still love me"He said placing his hands on mine

"I don't love you.And get your paws off me!"I said slapping his hand away
"What I had for you was obsession because I was so insecure about myself.I didn't love myself."

"You expect me to believe that?"he asked skeptical

"I don't expect you to.All I want is for you to leave.As long as I'm alive,you're dead to me"I said heartless

He scoffed,"Oh stop with you're poetry.I know you can't live without me"

"At least I have a future" I said imitating

"I'm so done explaining things to you!"he said as he snapped as he viciously kicked the hospital bed.

"Get the f*ck outta here!!"

There was complete anger in his eyes.
"Stay away from me"I shouted as he walked straight to me and started pulling my hair.

"That will teach you not to mess with me!"he growled as he kept on pulling my hair.

I lay aimlessly as I screamed for help.I tried hitting him put he didn't flinch,so I grabbed his hand and bit him hard but his pain didn't last long as he started pulling my hair again.

I heard the door open and Audrey stood there with fuming eyes.

"HOW DARE YOU!!"she shouted as she grabbed him by the collar and gave him a satisfying punch in his nose.
He held his bloody nose and tried to attack her but she punched him again.

I groaned in pain as she kept on punching him in his face.

It took security 5 minutes to get there and he was taken away in an ambulance.
Audrey ran towards me and gave me a comforting hug as I ended up crying into her shoulder.

"It was horrible, Audrey.He just came towards me and started pulling my hair"

"Everything's fine now"she said as she stroked my hair .

As soon as the doctor entered the room, Audrey started complaining about the low security even though the doctor apologized numerous times.

"It's fine, Audrey"I said, cleaning my tears

She brought me a glass of water and left for the airport.
