Catch-up

"I figured you wouldn't want to be left alone, no matter your protests, after your children being brought up." I softly answered, as I sat next to him on the bed and he allowed his head to fall onto my lap, where he cried himself to sleep.

Present

I must have drifted asleep, because when I opened my eyes again, the sun was rising and Loki was gone. All that was left was a note.

Avengers,

If you are reading this, it means you have finally found out that we took your Asgardian Prince. Once we have figured out the correct voltage to erase any and all memories, he will be unstoppable. We have won.

- Hail Hydra

I teleported to the living room where all the Midgardians had gathered. "Who is hydra, and why do they have my brother!" I demanded as my sudden appearance startled everyone but Thor, Wanda, and Natasha.

"What do you mean?" Thor said as he stood up and walked towards me. I handed him the note and he read it. His eyes darkened as he clung the paper tightly, and it crinkled in his grasp.

He slammed the paper onto the small table and the others quickly read it.

"He do we get him back?" Peter asked.

"If you can find anything with his DNA on it, I could perform a track and trace spell. Blood, hair, saliva. Anything like that." I said as I sat on the floor and summoned what i needed.

"Thor, go to his bedroom and check his pillow for any hair." I ordered as I set up the candles and the map of Midgard.

Thor left and I lit the red, blue, and purple candles on the corners of the map. I used magic to change into my official ritual wear and waited for Thor to return. My ritual wear is the outfit I would normally use during a ritual or a lunic event, such as a full moon, blood moon, blue moon, and so on.

It was a dark blue jumpsuit with silver patterns and a sweetheart neckline. I had a long length tulle skirt and a matching cape. A small circlet rested on my head with a crescent moon pendant lying in the middle.

Around my neck was something that I never normally used, but always wore under my clothing. A Norn's Stone. It is one of the most powerful objects in all nine realms.

And it belonged to me.

"What's she doing?" I heard someone ask

"What's she doing?" I heard someone ask. I had my eyes closed, so I couldn't tell whom it was.

"She is preparing for the ritual. With how strong Loki's sorcery is, plus his blocking spells, it will take alot out of her to find his direct location." I heard Thor's now hushed voice ring around the room.

I opened my eyes, and they were glowing green (An- like how Wanda's glow red). Thor lay the few strands of hair down on the white paper next to me. "Hit the lights." I muttered, just loud enough for Thor to hear. He did as I asked and I shut my eyes again to focus on the required energy as Thor explained what the Midgardians needed to do.

"No-one talk, move, or even breathe too loudly. Any interruptions could throw her spell off-course and guide us to the wrong place. Stark, save your questions for after she is finished. She needs complete silence for this to work." He whispered to them. Clearly Loki had taught him a few things.

I started muttering the spell in my native tongue, Jotunise, as I picked up the hair. It is not apart of Allspeak, so you would have to actually learn it if you wished to understand it.

I started levitating off the ground, with my legs still crossed, and floated in circles around the map. It was like there was zero gravity around me. My hair was floating around my head, as the skirt and cape of my outfit started to wave as it rose from the ground.

As I got half way through the spell, the candles burned brighter and the hair that was once in my hand bundled up and started floating towards the map. It hovered above the parchment for a few minutes, twirling in the air, before slowly lowering itself down.

Oslo, Norway.

That's where they have took him. How they got there so fast is beyond me, but that is where he is. The spell ended and the candles, that were dripping with liquid wax, went out of their own accord. I was slowly lowered to the ground and someone turned the lights back on.

I saw that Thor had to, quite literally, cover Tony's mouth and keep him pinned to stop him from questioning me. "That's where he is." I said as I stood up and used magic to make my ritual kit disappear.

"I am assuming you are able to use your artificial butler to pinpoint the exact location of where he is being held." I half questioned half stated as i looked to Tony, who still had a hand over his mouth, and he nodded.

I swiftly left the room to go prepare for the bloodbath that is about to take place in Norway.

An- Yes, another short chapter. But my ideas are running as low as my standards. And that's pretty low... Why do you think Hydra needs Loki, besides wanting the world under their thumb? What other reasons could there be? As always, vote and comment in what you think, I love reading them.

Till next time,
