Getting in king's landing the starks were bought inside to their rooms that were given to them by the king. King Jaehaerys made room for Eddard Stark on the small council because the stark will be a part of his family. It will be the right thing to do in this matter and the king can used the honor of Eddard Stark has, made make him master of laws but he was not sure yet on what he will do but he will find out what he can do with Eddard Stark.
Meanwhile Sansa was spending time with the prince, getting to know each other in the palace gardens of the red keep. There was a small age difference between them but the two will make it work between them no matter what. It depends on them to makes things work for both houses, to have an power like this and having old houses, Aegon and Sansa walked around the garden as two members of the king's guard followed them during the time. Arya was in one part of the castle learning her dancing lesson from her sword master that Eddard had got for his daughter. But Eddard needed to make Arya understand when Sansa marries they will have to leave the south, and head make back home leaving Sansa in king's landing alone. But that did not set well with Eddard so while in king's landing, Eddard wrote an letter and sent the raven to the north to one house. One strong warrior of one the northern houses asking this man to come to king's landing. The man, is from the house of Forrester, the third born son of the lord Forrester asking him to come to king's landing, his name is Lucian Forrester. He wasted no time on getting ready, Lucian rode to king's landing getting there in just in a few days.
Once he got there he found Lord Eddard Stark in the throne room, Lucian stood in front of Eddard.
" Thank you for coming, lad" Eddard spoke
" It is my pleasure my lord" Lucian spoke
" When my daughter, Sansa marries the heir me and my youngest daughter will leave and go back to winterfell. But I don't want to leave my daughter here alone, I am sure that the prince will keep her safe but I am not too sure. Lucian, I called you here because I know how great of a warrior you are. I want you to keep my daughter safe, to be her sworn shield." Eddard spoke
Lucian kneel down " It will be an honor my lord, Thank you for thinking of me first to keep your daughter, the future queen safe".
Eddard nodded his head at Lucian's words. After that both men talked to each other when they finished Eddard went to find the king to tell him what he did but the king already knew that Eddard called for a sworn shield for his daughter. And the king was okay with that because he would have done the same thing when it comes to his own daughters.
