Fire and Gold

Chapter 2.7

Aemond turned his dragon around heading back to harrenhal. They the others were confused on why Aemond was there and not going back to king's landing. All of them stayed in Harrenhal where Arya and Bran made their way to Harrenhal when they fled from their home when it was taken by the Bolton's. When Arya saw Dyanna and Alessa the three of them hugged each other like their life depended on. Between them all stayed in Harrenhal for a few months waiting for something, just not sure what. 

The nights were getting longer and colder Dyanna and Alessa knew what was coming. In the middle of the night they felt it. A slight shake in the ground, Alessa used her warg to see what it was. She looked threw the eyes of Ravens flying to the north where she saw the Night king and his army broke the wall and are coming. She told everyone that was in the room, where Harwin told everyone to get some sleep for the night so in the morning they can make their way to Winterfell. 

In the morning all pack up what they needed for the trip for the north, Aemond had his dragon so he would get there first. When they reached Winterfell they saw Jon with some brothers of the night's watch and the other houses of the north getting ready for the fight against the dead. When Jon saw Dyanna, Alessa, Bran and Arya his heart stopped and he made his way towards them embracing them in his arms. When Aemond made himself know with his dragon, Jon was pleased to see that, they will need almost ever dragon that is out there. 

Moving around the castle seeing dragonglass on the walls of the castle and weapons being made into weapons along with the people practicing with each other. Inside one of the rooms inside the castle stood the lords and ladies along with Harwin, Criston, Aemond, Dyanna, Alessa and Rhaenyra, Arya, Jon and Bran looking at the plan for the fight against the dead. 

As they talked it over, when the meeting was over all moved outside seeing the front gates open up showing Sam with Tormund and more members of the night's watch coming to help with this fight. 

In King's Landing Alicent was being worried because she found out that Aemond did not make it back yet and she was wondering where he could be. And she can not do anything about it, just have to wait. 

The whole castle was ready for what will come, Dyanna and Alessa dressed the clothes that will be better for them to move around for the fight that will come. They both stood on the bridge looking over into the darkness trying to see anything but no such luck. As they all waited for something to happen, some rest, ate warm food to settle their nerves. Good amount of people took their stand outside the castle walls as the other took their stand around inside the castle. 

Harwin and Criston looked for their daughters and saw them looking over out into the darkness. They wanted for them to go to the crypt where they would safe during the fight but they knew that they are just as stubborn and it will not work. They came over to stand by them. 

Each northern houses teamed up together. Hours getting into the darkness and much colder than before. Alessa breathed out. " It's time" she spoke 

Aemond got on his dragon as did Rhaenyra waiting for the right time to hit. It became quiet where there was nothing but the shaking of metal that the soldiers wore. In a blink of an eye the dead came like a wave after wave hitting the people that were in the front of the castle. The ones that were outside of the castle fought on, killing the dead with their dragonglass daggers and or spears to swords the best they could. Rhaenyra and Aemond took off with their dragons hitting the army with dragon fire. As Aemond and Rhaenyra used their dragon against the dead they were able to see how much there were, but Aemond saw about four walkers on dead horses away from the army so he thought that he should take a shot at them. But the cloud of cold blocked him from doing so. Meeting back up with Rhaenyra in the sky before going back down with the dragon fire watching the dead burn and the magic die that held it ending. 

Alessa took some arrows to fire at the trench that was made, that caught on fire so that the people that remain alive to come back inside the castle as they did. The front gates closed and blocked the best it could. Everyone was able to take a moment to themselves before the dead came again but even harder. But the dead just stopped the attack and just stood there making everyone confused on what they were doing. 

On the top level of the castle Dyanna and her father, Harwin just watched. Dyanna looked at Alessa as it was a sign to get ready. And soon enough the dead made a bridge over the fire where they started to walk then getting into a running pace. Dyanna and Alessa ready their swords as the others did the same. 

" Burn the walls!" Ser Davos yelled out

The dead started to come up the walls of the castle and was able to get inside the castle. Dyanna was fighting each dead that came her way as did Alessa. Both were holding their own, Dyanna moved against the dead like nothing. Alessa was on the other end of the castle fighting until she got tackled by a dead man but she was able to get back up and kill him with ease. Alessa looked over the inside of the castle she saw everyone fighting the dead that came inside. As she watched, getting up killing the dead that came her way one of the gates of the castle broke up showing a giant, a dead giant coming into the courtyard. Arrows tried to bring the giant down but nothing worked. Alessa grabbed about three dragonglass arrows as she took off in a running pace she ready the arrows in the bow getting on the giant where she was able to hit the giant in the head. Alessa was able to reach the other side to of the castle like taking down the giant was nothing to her. On the other side of castle she used her sword dropping the dead passing Dyanna as Dyanna went the same way Alessa was before. As they both killed each dead they could. 

Harwin and Criston fought side by side against the dead and they saw their daughters fight as well when they were able to see. Since one of the gates of the castle was broken by the first giant more dead was able to come in and another giant came in as well. Dyanna saw her chance and went to the giant, taking a spear that was made of dragonglass, with one shot she threw the spear getting the giant in the head. Taking down the giant was great until Dyanna got tackled into the wall by an dead man which she hit her head against the wall. Where the dead man was able to stab Dyanna in the side but she was able to kill the dead man. 

She shook it off and still fought on as she got into the castle, where Dyanna fought more of the dead men that were inside the castle like they were looking for something. 

In one of the rooms Dyanna was able to kill a good handful of the dead men but the bad part is the dead men were able to harm her more, were able to stab her again adding more wounds to her. But she did not give up, she was able to kill them but she was still in trouble when one of the white walkers came into the room. Both of them looked at each other in the eyes before they started to fight each other. 

Dyanna reached for her sword before she was able to use it the white walker punched her in the face and kicking her sword away from her. Dyanna got up from it and went towards her sword not going to give up. The fight between her and the white walker became brutal and hard. Dyanna took hit after hit from the white walker ending up being thrown across the room landing on some tables. The white walker came towards her using her own sword stabbing her once before he stopped where he reached down grabbing her by the throat going to break her neck but he busted into ice like he was never there. Dyanna landed back on the ground bloody and broken and tired she just wanted to sleep. As she was on the ground she heard nothing but silence.
