Chapter Ten- A Difference

It was finally Jamaica day at school, students were out of their uniforms and most were in their Jamaica colours. As for Brianna and Shauna along with her minions were dressed in black jumper with yellow and green blouse. Aaron and his friends were dressed in full black. Mickayla was dressed in her black pants with a Jamaican T-shirt. They were all looking amazing.

Aaron haven't heard from or seen Mickayla from Monday. He knew she had two exams today and he was just counting down the hours to see her. She was blunt but having her presence around made him feel at ease and comfortable.
"Yow."
Phillip ran towards him.
"A wah?"
"Brianna sen mi nudes las nite."
"An?"
"Yuh wan si dem?"
"No breda."
Phillip started scrolling through his phone smiling.
"A wah?"
"Nothing."
"My yout from wah day ya yuh nah move rite."
There was a silence.
"My yout mi good."
There was another silence.
"From wen yuh si Mickayla?"
"Monday morning."
"Yuh miss har or sumn?"
"Yea breda."
"Suh why yuh no guh luk fi har."
"Shi ave exam di a prepare fa."
"Really? An Brianna up wid mi till 2 las night an mi did a duh mi assignment an shi neva mention nothing bout exam."
"Brianna no study?"
"Mi no feel suh."
"Shi not even mention say shi ave exam eitha."
"Shauna man, a shi a influence Brianna from wah day ya."
The break bell ring.

Aaron rushed to the first form block where he found Mickayla at her desk eating. Brianna and Shauna was behind her chit chatting and laughing. Aaron enter the class and Brianna and Shauna smiled at him but he ignored them as if they were both ghosts that he could not see.
"Aaron no si yuh?"

"A Mickayla close fren."
"Oh."

"Hey Mickayla."
"Aaron."
"How was your exams?"
"Them did alrite."
"Yuh duh yuh bes?"
"Mi write weh mi remember but di results will show."
"Oh well, suh exam done now?"
"Yea."
"No more class fi di day?"
"No."
"Great suh yuh can be mi company fi di res a di day den."
"I guess."
Before he could say anything Raheem and Phillip enter the classroom.
"A yah suh yuh deh now?"
"Yea."
"Suh a who dis?"
"Mi girlfren Mickayla."
Raheem push Aaron out of the seat and sit down.
"Mickayla,pretty name."
"Thank you."
"I'm Raheem,Aaron cousin."
"Hi Raheem."
"Weh a cute girl lik yuh a duh wid mi wuklis cousin?"
"Mi woulda ask di same ting to but him no bad."
"What a sweet girl,cute to."
Mickayla smiled. Raheem looked at her and then at Aaron.
"Yuh sure yuh want him?"
"Yes Aaron actually cute, cuta dan yuh."
Aaron laughed.
"Really?"
"Yea."
"Ouch."
"Nice to meet you tho Mickayla,"said Raheem after a long pause.
"You too Raheem."

"Aaron fawud," said Raheem as he stepped out of the classroom.

"Soon come Kayla."
"No problem."

Raheem and Aaron went to stand by 1A. Not close but a little distant away.
"Yow a di one dat?"
"Raheem lef di girl alone."
"No yout, shi look lik a wifey material, Suh mi a say if yuh nuh wan tek har serious mi we tek har serious fi yuh."
Aaron laughed.
"Yuh no si how shi calm an cute wid di calmness to."

"Yea."

"Mostly yes."
"E betta shi kno everything."

"No yuh and Shauna a lef together?"
Raheem did not answer but went back into 1B.

"Nice talking to you cousin in law, anything yuh need jus tell Phillip or Aaron mi we get di message."
"Ok."
He went to where Shauna and Brianna was, Phillip who was talking to Mickayla joined Raheem.

"Kayla."
"Aaron."
"Miss mi?"
"Miss yuh face, not you."
"Yuh caa soften up wid mi?"
"No yet."
"Wen?"
"Whenever mi see mi grades dem."
"Wen yuh a si dem?"
"Monday."
"Both?"
"Yes."
"Suh wah time mi can check yuh fi see if we official?"
"Lunch time."
"Ok, come mek we guh chill up a library."
"Ok," said Mickayla packing her bag.
