Mickayla was receiving messages while Aaron was talking on his phone. The messages were from Brianna, there were messages, videos, voice notes,pictures,the more she opened the messages,the more her mouth fell open into a deep shock. Aaron noticed and end the call abruptly.
"Mickayla a wah?"
"Yuh eva cheat pon mi Aaron, no jokes now."
"Wah mek yuh really a look pon mi an a ask mi sumn lik dat?"
"Cause mi wan one ansa."
Aaron did not answer.
"Seem like you neva hear mi."
"No," lied Aaron.
"Really?"
"Yes," lied Aaron again.
"Den a wah dis?"
She show him all the messages , pictures, videos and voice notes she had received from Brianna. Aaron was stunned and dumb.
"Babe I'm sorry."
"Imagine mi ask yuh sumn an yuh really look in a mi eyes an lie to mi, remembering from before you did a lie to me then to, a try play it off as a joke."
"Mi neva wan hurt yuh."
"By lying and joking?"
"Cah tek dis, mi tell yuh no drama an now look at dis.$

"Enjoy yuh life Aaron," said Mickayla and went to her room slamming the door behind her. Aaron went to her room door five minutes after he had heard it been slammed shut.
"Baby."
"Guh home Aaron, yuh jus spoil up mi holiday so."
"Kayla open di door no man mek mi talk to yuh."
"Yuh no need to explain, jus com gwan home."
Aaron stood by the door for 30 minutes knocking but getting no response, he left the door and went back to the living room to pack his things.

Shanice walked into the house with her neighbor Crissy. All laughter and conversation stopped when they saw Aaron .
"Aaron weh Mickayla?"
"In har room."
She noticed Aaron's facial expression and ran to check on Mickayla.

"A yuh a Mickayla bwoyfren,"asked Crissy.
"Yes."
"Shi fin cute man now."
"Cute man now?"
"From mi kno har, a pay man shi deh roun,"lied Crissy.
"Oh," said Aaron in disbelief.
"How long yuh kno dem fa?"
"Long time," lied Crissy.
"Weh yuh kno bout Mickayla?"
"Dat deh gyal deh soon dead."
"Shi sick?"
"Di way har auntie beat har plus the asthma weh a suppose to serious now, shi soon gone."
Aaron froze in shock and disbelief.

Shanice went knocking on Mickayla's room door. She had to spend 15 minutes convincing Mickayla that she was alone at the door before she could enter.
"Kayla."
"Yes," answered Mickayla in a tearful voice.
"Wah appen?"
"Aaron cheat pon mi."
Shanice was silent,she say down trying to process what was said to her. Mickayla put the phone into her hands with the evidence.
"Brianna a who?"
"One girl in a mi class weh mi use to be frens wid before mi and Aaron get close."
"Why now?"
"Huh?"
"Kayla dis girl only a try mash up yuh an Aaron."
"Him cheat Shanice, a dat hot."
"Mi no say e no hurt, but look on it, how close were you an Aaron back den? Yuh need to ask Aaron or Brianna or the both a dem why."
"No."
"Do dat an Kayla memba say him a no di only one weh ave secrets."
Shanice walked out of the room leaving Mickayla sitting on her bed with tear soaked face.

"Aaron shi a botha yuh."
"No."
"Crissy gi mi and Aaron some space."
Crissy went to sit on the veranda, Shanice sat beside Aaron.

"How are you brother in law?"
Aaron smiled.
"Yuh hurt Kayla, yuh kno dat?"
"Mi kno, mi neva mean fi it happen, mi an har neva did so close dem time deh."
"Why yuh duh it tho?"
"Legs dem did open an mi did well wan some an a suh it happen."
Shanice laughed. She laughed nonstop for a minute.
"Weh yuh an Mickayla agree to?"
"No sex."
"Until?"
"Afta shi graduate from 5th form."
"Can yuh manage dat?"
"No kno but mi ago try."
"Why abstain for one girl tho?"
"Mi love yuh sista, dat a weh di promise ring mean."
"Promise ring?"
"Yea."
"Weh dat happen?"
"Las nite."
Shanice got silent, she was mixed with happiness, sadness and jealousy but contain it.
"Yuh ok?,"asked Aaron.
"Yea mi good."
"Mi can hol a fresh in a yuh bathroom?"
"Yea sure."
Aaron got up with his bag. Reaching the bathroom, he bumped into Mickayla who was leaving her room. She turn to go back into her room but he held on to her, she stop but her face was not turn to him but to her room.
"Baby."
"Aaron let mi guh."
"Baby please no do mi dis."
"Aaron let mi guh."
"Baby yuh a mi wife, please talk to mi babe."
She face him and put the promise ring into his hand. Aaron could feel his heart shatter to pieces. As the pieces from his heart come through his eyes, he grip Mickayla's arm.
"No duh dis to mi please."
"Aaron let mi guh."
"Take back di ring."
"No."
"Mickayla tek di ring back out a mi hand."
"No."
He loosen her arm.
"I'm no longer interested in the relationship."
"Baby please no do dis to mi."
"Mi tell yuh yuh before, no drama, now look ya."
"Baby dat was before we did close."
"No longer your baby Aaron, guh home,"said Mickayla and slam the door into his face.
Aaron stood by the bathroom in pain. Is this what heartbreak felt like, was this the pain Raheem describe when he had lost his girlfriend. It hurts. For the first time, Aaron cried, crying with all his might.

Raheem and his brother Brandon drive up at the gate. Seeing Shanice and Crissy on the veranda, they stopped to talk before letting Aaron and Mickayla know that they were there in the case they were busy doing something.
"Hi Shanice."
"Hey Raheem."
Crissy bounce her signalling that she wanted to be acknowledged as well.
"Raheem my neighbor Crissy."
He smile brightens as she looked directly into the eyes of Raheem.
"Meet my brother Brandon."
"Nice to meet you Brandon."
"Nice to meet you too," said Crissy in an overexcited tone.
Raheem and Brandon looked at Crissy weirdly.
"Yuh place neat tho,"said Raheem.
"Tanks, how yuh Christmas?"
"All mi kno, mi a enjoy mi Christmas."
"Mi can si dat."

"Weh Kayla."
"Inside."
"Mi can guh inside?"
"Sure."
She watched as he enter and sit at the door to see what was happening on the inside even though she was outside.

Raheem walked inside, only to find Aaron sitting at the closed door. Knowing it was serious, Raheem sat down next to him.
"A wah happen?"
"Brianna, shi fin out say mi f*** Brianna."
"Yuh neva tell har?"
"No."
"Mi no tell yuh fi tell har dwag."
"Neva wan tell har."
"Now look wah happen.*
Aaron was silent. Their silence was disturbed as Mickayla open the door.
"Baby."
Mickayla took the ring from his hand and walked pass them without saying a word.
"Yuh sure Mickayla lef yuh?"
"Mi confuse right now."
"Gi har some weeks, memba say a har fren yuh f***, it ago tek some time fi she process it."
Aaron couldn't speak,he was in too much pain to speak.
