Chapter Twenty One- A Difference Step

It was the last day of school, test was over and everyone could look forward to their Christmas Holiday. Aaron wasn't going to let Mickayla go home since he haven't seen her for three weeks now because of exams. He went straight to her classroom for where he found her packing and talking with Brianna.
"Baby."
"Hey babe."
"Miss me?"
"Missed you so much."
They embrace each other and Aaron kiss her on her forehead.
"Unuh nah fi show off pan mi so."
They laughed.

"You eat?"
"No."
"Can I buy you lunch?"
"Aaron."
"My treat."
"Alright no problem, I'll pay the fare den."
"See das why I can't do without you."
"Aww baby."
"Yes di three weeks mi did a suffa."
"We texted."
"Dats not enough."
"Want more?"
"Your lips."
"Yuh serious?"
"Yes babe, mi nah ave sex suh a di simplest thing mi can duh a get a kiss."

He took her bag and they both walked away with Brianna following. Noticing Brianna, Phillip pulled her to one side, Mickayla and Aaron sit down and waited at a distance so that they could have privacy to talk.
"Phillip where were you?"
"No ask mi bout dat."
"Really? Mi no si or hear from yuh fi bout 3 months now."
"Baby mi did busy."
"Oh."
"Yea was working on projects."
"A simple good morning text would do."
"Mi did busy."
"Alright well keep on been busy cause mi an yuh nah guh work out."
"Suh yuh couldn't spen time wid mi before yuh go home."
"Time wid yuh where?"
"In a di classroom."
"Why not May Pen?"
"Where we would a chill?"
"KFC or Juici Beef."
"No, no lik crowd."
"Phillip yuh a hide sumn."

"Suh why yuh a try hide mi den?"

He walked away from Brianna angrily. Aaron and Mickayla watched the reaction, Mickayla went to comfort Brianna and Aaron went to check on Phillip. Aaron stop Phillip right above the 3rd form block, seeing Phillip's attitude, he pretend to not to know what it was and ask him question same way.
"Wah gwan?"
"P**** mi wan but Brianna no wan gi mi nothing."
"Suh weh yuh a guh?"
"Onella."
"Fi wah?"
"P****"
"Onella a sell f*** now?"
"No ami woman."
"Oh."
"A wah?"
"Nothing breda duh yuh ting."
"Yuh ave a problem?"
"No jus think yuh did lik Brianna."
"No mi did jus wan p****."
"Ok."
"A wah?"
"Duh yuh ting dwag, yuh an Onella enjoy unuh self mi gone home."
"Ah."
They both went separated into their different direction.

Mickayla was trying to comfort Brianna, she was crying her eyes out. Aaron came and saw them and intervene because he wanted to leave the school compound in urgency.
"Brianna."
She looked with a wet face.
"No min Phillip."
"Aaron a no Phillip a di problem."
"Who den?"
"Me."
"Wah wrong wid yuh?"
"Two fail relationships mi ave in less Dan four months."
"Two?"
"Yes, you and Phillip."
"You did consider mi an yuh one couple?"
"Yes."
"See now dat a your problem."
"We talk fi five days."
"So?"
"We do things."
He hush her up before Mickayla realize.
"Yuh neva realize weh mi wan?"
"Sex?,"asked Mickayla finally listening to the conversation.
"No Mickayla."
"Why yuh approach mi?,"asked Brianna.
"Cauz yuh easy."
Mickayla slap him across the head.
"Kayla behave."
"No so blunt."
Brianna laughed.
"See shi a smile."
"Tanks for the laughter."
"My advice is stop been so eager fi one bwoyfren, di rite one wi fin yuh eventually even if yuh rude like Mickayla."
She slapped him again and Brianna laughed.

Raheem was rushing to catch up with Aaron when he heard noises coming from 3B. He stop to see what was happening, noticing Onella and Phillip he froze in shock with a mixture of other feelings.
"Yow."
Onella and Phillip looked up.
"Yuh ave an obsession wid second forma?"asked Raheem.
"Com out no."
"Phillip fawud."
"My yout mi no finish yet."
"Finish wah? Drown?"
"Stop di hate Raheem, mi and yuh kno we did have a thing."
Ignoring her, he said, " Phillip fawud."
Phillip and Raheem walked outside.
"Yuh a fawud a Juici Beef?"
"No."
"Onella cause e."
"No."
"Breda wah den?"
"Nothing."
Without saying another word, Raheem walked away, Phillip went back to Onella.

There was laughter and talking at Juici Beef, everyone was having fun except for Brianna. Aaron knew that it was dampening Mickayla's mood, he try to her distracted so that she wouldn't leave.
"Babe."
"No lik si Brianna lik dat."
"Baby."
"She's my fren, mi ago guh home."
"Please don't."
"Aaron luk pon Brianna."
Brianna's head was down and she was scrolling through her phone.
"Yuh wan bring home di food?"
"Sure."
Aaron pack the food into a bag, Mickayla give him a kiss and walked away with Brianna.

As he turn around to eat, Raheem and the others were looking at him questionably.
"A wah yow?"
"Neva kno mi would a liv fi si dis day."
"Wah?"
"Mickayla humble yuh enough dwag."
Aaron did not answer, he just eat while the others made fun of him.
