Chapter 11: Spin The Bottle 2

After 10 seconds, Tam and Biana pulled away. Biana quickly went back to her seat before her eyes met Tam's. 

When she returned to her seat, she made eye contact with the girls, and they all made faces which seemed to say, "That was so cute!".  All Biana could do was smile. Inside her head, she was already having second thoughts of whether Tam will still like her after doing this. 

Meanwhile, Tam was flushing pretty hard himself. He tugged his bangs lower above his eyes to hide it. But secretly, he was smiling to himself. Kissing Biana....it felt wonderful. Like heaven had sent him a gift which gave him eternal happiness. 

But when he looked up, he caught Fitz glaring at him, hard. When their eyes met, Fitz seemed to be trying to say, 'We-are-going-have-a-chat-later'. Tam gulped. How was he going to face Fitz? He was going to have to think of what to say after the game. After Biana, was Fitz. Biana had to shake her brother's shoulder to get him to pay attention. 

Fitz blinked a few times, then faced his sister cluelessly. 

"It's your turn! Why are you giving me that look?" Biana exclaimed. 

"O-oh! Sorry!" Fitz apologised, flustered. He took the bottle and gave it a spin. Everyone leaned over to take a closer look at the bottle, except Fitz, who had his eyes close. Keefe noticed and teased him. "Aw, c'mon Fitzy. Don't be like that! Now we can really see who you REALLY like!" 

And just like that, the bottle stopped. Like it was fullfilling Keefe's request. It stopped, in front of Linh. Sophie could see Keefe heaving a sigh of relief, Dex and Tam both having clueless looks in their eyes, and an embarrassed Fitz. She giggled and Biana and Marella follwed her. Linh's cheeks turned from pink to red. The girls could see, from the boys eyes, that Fitz was only going in for a hug. 

But what happened next shocked the whole group. (Okay, maybe 'shocked' the boys, but was 'expected but unexpected at the same time' for the girls. You get what I mean.)

Fitz came over to Linh's side, leaned down and kissed her. There were gasps from the boys, and squeals from the girls. The girls kept on jumping up and down like it was a big accomplishment while the boys were just sitting there, jaws hanging. Tam took it hard the most. From shocked and surprised to angry and clenched-fists. How could he? How could he do this? In front of him? Kissing his only sister and family in front of him. 

Tam almost felt like exploding, but when he saw the happy look on Biana's face for Linh and her brother, he cooled down a bit. His fists unclenched, his shoulders relaxed and his feeling of anger slipped away. If he thought about it, it wouldn't be fair to Fitz and Linh to stop their love for each other, since, technically, Tam likes Biana, Fitz's sister. It wouldn't be fair to the both of them. 

His eyes met Fitz as he pulled away from Linh. Fitz gave him an apologetic look. Tam just waved it away and smiled. That took Fitz by surprise but he smiled back. 

"Finally! My turn! I've been waiting all day!" Keefe exclaimed, grabbing the bottle. It was Keefe's turn, since Linh was sitting next to her brother. 

Tam snorted. "Oh come on. You already kissed Sophie. It'll a miracle if the bottle were going to land on her again." 

Keefe gave a little huff. "Miracles happen, Bangs Boy. And I'm pretty sure you're dying to kiss BIANA again!" he teased. 

"Do not! Well, at least not 'dying' to anyway," Tam argued. He said the last part in a small voice. 

Keefe obviously heard the whole thing. He snickered and shurgged. "Ok, suit yourself." 

By now, both Sophie and Biana were blushing so hard, they looked like they had a heat rash. Keefe gave the bottle a hard spin, a spin that, if it was alive, would make it vomit and see stars. Unfortunately for Keefe, the bottle was not going to be so nice this time. It had somewhat turned into monster, to Tam and Keefe. 

"NO! I AM NOT HUGGING THIS GUY!" Tam exclaimed, backing away from the cirlce. 

Keefe shook his head along, hard. "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT." 

"But why? Aren't you two like, best friends at heart?" Marella asked, giving a puzzled look towards her friends. She didn't know that, althought Tam and Keefe were literally the same person, they were nothing close to 'best friends' ever since Keefe didn't allow Tam to read his shadowvapor. Otherwise, they would've have gotten along too well. 

"WE ARE NOT!" the boys shouted in unison. Marella's eyebrows shot up and she glanced at her friends, who were just rolling their eyes and shaking their heads. Even Sophie and Biana seemed to be following along. 

"Well...even so, you still have to do it. It's the rules. Unless you prefer to do the punishment." Linh told them, smirking a little. 

"But we already went through torture just now! During Truth or Dare!" Keefe whined. 

"That was different. That was saying it through communication. Now, it's through physical contact. Come on, give each other a hug." Sophie instructed and Biana nodding along, while both of them gave their best puppy-dog eyes. 

The boys looked at their crushes 'pretty pretty please' faces and sighed in defeat. And then they looked at each other, with slightly flushed faces. From here, you can already tell both of them have been shot with a cupid arrow that has been stabbed right smacked in the middle of their hearts. 

"Fine...we'll do it." Tam mumbled under his breath. 

"BUT only for a few seconds. 5. Max." Keefe added and his friends agreed. 

"So...who's going to start first?" Sophie asked. 

The boys looked at each other once more, their faces saying something like, 'You do it!'. In the end, Keefe won, ( through their telephaty war ) and Tam had to hug him first. Tam sighed. After breathing in deeply, he went over to Keefe and wrapped his arms around Keefe's shoulders. 

After about 5 seconds, Tam released Keefe and went back to sitting beside Linh. 

"See? That wasn't so bad." Biana said, with Sophie nodding along. Keefe and Tam just shrugged.

"Well, one thing's for sure, he and I will NEVER EVER become besties. Don't count on it." Keefe announced. 

Tam shook his head along. "For once, I'll have to strongly agree with hunkyhair."  and they all laughed. 

Wow! This is the longest part ever! Gosh, And I thought it would be hard trying to get ideas to write about these elves. But NOPE. 

I hope you like that it's extra long. I actually didn't realize that I wrote this much until I saw the number, 900 something. Hehe. :)
