Chapter 19: Confessions 4 (Keefe)

This chapter will be special. It'll be from both characters POV's and fianlly, some SOKEEFE! 

Finally, it was Keefe's turn. By now, the sun had set and the moon had risen. The deadline was midnight. Could he make it? 

That night, he sneaked out of the room, silently walking over to the girls room. But when he reached there, Sophie wasn't there. He checked on the first floor and found her at the garden, staring at the stars. 

"Can't sleep?" he says, making Sophie turn around. 

"Not really," she answers, "the sky's beautiful tonight isn't it?" 

"It sure is," Keefe agreed, joining her for her 'star-gazing' 

"Is there a reason why you can't sleep?" Sophie asked, turning to Keefe. 

"Um, no, well, uh....ok fine yes" Keefe admitted, "I came out here to tell you something." 

This caught Sophie's attention. She turns so her whole body can face him. 

"I....really really like you Sophie. No joke," Keefe confessed. 

Sophie's jaw dropped. Keefe actually LIKED her? "You really do?" 

"Why do you think I gave the necklace?" 

Sophie flushed. So Biana's susipicions were right. Keefe did like her. Really really like her. Sophie was about to say something when her eye make contact with Keefe's. It had that look, the look that always seemed to say, 'I want to do this'. And his eyes were on her lips. 

Keefe suddenly steps forward, and he continues until their shoes touch. Sophie forces herself to look up into those gorgeous ice blue eyes, before giving Keefe a small nod. 

Right on cue, he leans forward and closes the gap between their lips. Sophie kisses him back, as fireworks shoot everwhere in their minds. When they pull away, Keefe asked the words, 

"Sophie Foster, will you be my girlfriend?" 

Sophie smiles excitedly and answers, "Yes! Forever and ever!"
