Chapter 18: Confessions 3 (Tam)

Tam's POV

Tam groaned. It was his turn and frankly, he wasn't ready. Fitz came into the room grinning so wide, it could've have hurt if he was paying attention. 

"C'mon, Bangs Boy! Don't you wanna be with Biana?"Keefe teased, nudging Tam in the ribs. Tam gets up and Keefe shouts a 'Good luck!' from their room before Tam closes the door. He heads for the stairs and walks down slowly, delaying every second. 

"Tam! Wait!" 

That voice. Tam turns around and finds Biana running after him. Suddenly, she trips and would have nearly injured herself if Tam hadn't caught her. Biana being in his arms made him want this moment to stay forever. 

"Oh..uh...sorry," Biana says and stand back up awkwardly. 

"It there something you want?" Tam asked. 

"Oh! Um, I just...you know what? Never mind!" Biana turns around and starts to sprint up but Tam stops her by grabbing her arm. 

"Wait. I want to talk," he says.

The both of them are in the garden, facing each other. Tam sighs and starts. 

"I..want to tell you something," he starts saying. 

"And that is?" Biana presses. 

Tam heaved a sigh. "That I like you." 

Biana freezed. Or so Tam thought she did. All she did was blink, trying to swallow everything that Tam had just said. 

"You like....me?" 

Tam nodded slowly, and took out the box with her gift inside. It was wrapped with a silver-blue ribbon. 

"Ff-or me?" Biana asked, her mouth hanging as she took the box. 

Tam nodded again, too nervous to speak. Would she like it? Biana untied the ribbon and opened the lid of the box. She gasped, which made Tam's shoulder's relax. Inside was a necklace similar to Sophie's but it was stained silver and had a purple heart dangling from the end. 

Biana held it up. "It's beautiful...." was all she could say. 

"Do you...want me to put it on for you?" Tam asked. (the exact same word used by Keefe) 

Biana nodded slowly, and Tam took the necklace. He went behind her and clipped it on for her, his fingers brushing against Biana's skin. Biana turned around to face him and asked, "How is it?" 

Tam smiled. "Beautiful." The both of them stood facing each other, enjoying the moment. Suddenly, Tam's feet inshed closer to Biana, but Biana didn't move. She stood rooted to the ground, and not making a sound. (Hey, that rhymed) 

Tam leaned in closer, leaving just an inch of space left between their lips. Without thinking, he filled it up and pressed his lips against Biana's. Biana kissed back, wrappng her arms around Tam neck and he did around her waist. They pulled away, smiling as their forheads touched. Then, Tam asked the question you all have been dying to to hear. 

"Biana Vacker, will you be my girlfriend?" 

Biana smiled softly and whispered, "Yes" before kissing Tam again. Tam kissed back harder and neither of them seemed to want to pull away first.
