Edaline gasped when she saw where Sophie's hand was.

"Sophie-"

"Not now, Mum," Sophie cut her off, then faced Grady, trying her best to look into his eyes.

"Dad, I know this may seem....shocking," Sophie started, gesturing to her clasped hand around Keefe's, "but we're dating now. And I want you to-"

Sophie stopped talking when she realized her adoptive father was being calm. Too calm.

"Um, dad, is...everything okay?"

Grady just scoffed and trudged over to where was standing and put and arm around him, making Biana jump.

"I know everything, sweetheart. All thanks to this boy right here," he assured, nodding approvingly at Tam.

Everyone in the room gasped. Biana's jaw dropped from shock. "T-tam? You were the on that told him?"

Tam nodded sheepishly. But soon, regained confidence and faced Keefe while staring into his eyes and said, "You can thank me later."

Now everyone started scratching their heads. What was Tam talking about?

"Can you....explain Dad?" Sophie asked.

Grady heaved in a deep breath. "So, long story short, your friend here talked to me and told me you and...*ahem*.....K-keefe, were in a relationship. At first, I was pretty mad since, 1, you didn't tell me anything and 2, you didn't get my approval on whether you could date him. But Tam here, managed to calm me down and supported your relationship and tried to convince me with every example possible, so you two could be together. Am I right, son?" Grady asked, facing Tam who was blushing hard, He gave a small nod.

"Eventually, he managed to convince me and every since then, I was trying to catch you two to talk about things. You better thanks your friend here, Soph. He's done a big favour for you," Grady continued.

And without another word, Sophie ran over to Tam and gave him a tight squeeze. "Oh gosh, you didn't have to Tam!"

Tam shrugged. "It's the least I could do. I know how it feels like to....be treated wrongly," he assured, glancing at Keefe and giving him a small smile.

Keefe immdiately caught his message and smiled back. Biana being Biana ran over to her boyfriend and gave him the best girlfriend hug she could give him.

"When did you tell him though?" Keefe asked.

"During that time, when me and Biana visited to hang out with you guys," Tam replied, still avoiding eye contact.

Grady nodded proudly and patted Tam on the back. "Thanks to Tam, you two," he gave a pointed look at Sophie and Keefe, "are off the hook."

Sophie, Keefe and the others only beamed widely. But when Grady and Edaline left them in the living room, they whooped and cheered like crazy sasquatches.

"Yes! We're officially together!" Sophie cheered, and giggled when Keefe picked her up and spun her around. He gave her a peck on the lips and they beamed at each other. Meanwhile, Tam and Biana were standing in the corner, just watching from the sides.

"I can't believe you did that," Biana commented, looking up at Tam and giving him a smile.

Tam shrugged. "Hunkyhair's not that bad. I mean, sure, he can be annoying, but I bet the last thing he wants is not being able to be with the person he wants, and adding on the sadness. I kinda get what it feels like..." he explained, trailing off, "and I do kinda owe him a favour for something that happened a few weeks back. So, I thought, why not stand up for them?"

"But, honestly Biana," he started again, "do you really think I'm worthy of being you partner? The one who will stand by your side for the rest of your life?" he asked, not looking at Biana.

Biana pushed his face with her palm so he could face her and said firmly, "Of course you are, Tam. And don't argue with me. I know your weaknesses and strengths, and it doesn't matter to me at all that your a wayward or banished, as long as we're together. Becuase the Tam I know, doesn't give up on something so easily."

Tam stared at his girlfriend's determined face and smiled. Then, he leaned in and kissed her on the lips, making Biana jump. She kissed him back and the two of them enjoyed the moment whie their friends totally ignored them and celebrated. When the pulled apart, Biana smiled and nuzzled her head against Tam arm, while hugging it.

"Don't make me fall because you're cute," Tam warned in a joking manner.

Biana arched an eyebrow. "That's a perk of a girlfriend, isn't it?"

The two laughed and joined their friends, who were already looking so hyped.

In the end, the eight of them decided to have an unplanned sleepover at Havenfield, under the stars. They laid down side by side with their partners, Sophie and Keefe, Biana and Tam, Marella and Dex and finally, Linh and Fitz.

It was the best day for all of them, and they'll never forget that.

                                                                                 THE END!

Okay guys, this is the end. I'm still in the making of my other books, (cuz of school and exams...sigh) so they're a bit slower than this one. The next book, (also KOTLC) is not a sequel of anything to this but a totally different story. You'll see what I mean when I release it.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this book! Forgive me if it's not up to any of your standards, I'll try my best to improve!
