Chapter 23: The Gang is Back!

After that sleepover, 6/8 of the gang was back. They told each other how their parents reactions were when they announced they were dating, (Biana and Fitz) how they are still yet trying to find a way to break the news to theirs (Sophie and Keefe) and how they were free and easy since their parents basically didn't care. (Keefe, Tam and Linh) 

"I feel like some people are missing," Linh said, glancing around the group. Then, she snapped her fingers and exclaimed, "Marella and Dex!" 

"Oh, right! Gosh, I almost forgot," Biana chimed in. Sophie stared at her. Just then, yet another knock was heard. 

"I'll tell her that," she told Biana and walked over to the door, with Biana following and begging her not to. 

"Your girlfriend has been spending too much time with you that she has basically become you," Tam whispered to Keefe. 

Keefe smirked. "That's my girl for you! There's a reason why we're made for each other, you know?" he boasted. 

Tam shrugged. Keefe was right on that. Even he himself had been shipping those two the moment Sophie introduced Linh and him to the gang. (Even though that was the moment he knew he couldn't trust him) Keefe and Sophie....had a lot in common. Targeted by the Neverseen, family issues and they were always together. Adventure or not. 

Tam was going to be honest here, he was a big fan of Sokeefe. Those two *shakes head* were meant to be. Tam was actually looking forward to see their children one day. (to see the similarities)

"Uh, Bangs Boy? You there? Marella and Dex are here," Keefe asked, waving a hand in front of Tam's face. Tam blinked a few times and shook his head. "Sorry, got distracted there," he apologized.

"No worries, Tammy Boy! Everyone has their times," Keefe teased. 

"Do NOT, call me that," Tam growled, shadows darkening the room. 

'Ok, ok. Sheesh, I was only joking," Keefe answered, rolling his eyes. 

Tam's shadows crawled back into him and the room was lightened again. 

"Huh, for a moment, I thought it was getting dark already. Then suddenly, I see sun again!" Dex announced, glancing around. 

"Me too..." Sophie said, scratching her head. Everyone seemed the same. Keefe looked over at Tam and Tam just mouthed, "Oops," with a guilty expression. 

"I'm sure it's nothing! It could just be our eyes playing tricks on us!" Keefe said, saving Tam. Everyone nodded in agreement. Tam caught Keefe's eye and mouthed, "Thanks." Keefe smirked and mouthed back, "You owe me." 

Tam stabbed his elbow in Keefe's arm and an 'Ow!' slipped out from Keefe's mouth. Tam snickered. 

"Something going on over there?" Sophie asked, as she and Biana turned around. 

"Nothing!" Tam replied cheerfully. Keefe was just kept silent, but a few minutes later, he stood up straighter and cleared his throat, getting everyone's attention. Especially Tam's. By now, Tam was getting ready to run for his life. He knew this would happen. 

"Bangs Boy. That, HURT." Keefe snarled. 

Suddenly, Tam started running and Keefe started chasing him. That took everyone by surprise. 

"Uhm, anyone know what happened between them?" Biana asked, receiving 5 shaking heads. By now, Keefe had chased Tam into the Vacker's garden. After that, they ran off some down the hall. (I mean, Everglen's pretty big) Sophie and Biana looked at their boyfriends with amused faces. 

By the end of the chase, the two boys were laughing breathlessly and patting the each other on the back while saying, "Let's never do that again." 

"You guys okay or....was that your way of 'catching up'?" Sophie joked, "Literally." 

The boys looked at each other, then shrugged. "You could say that," Tam said, heading over to where Biana was standing. Biana cocked an eyebrow at him and he shrugged. 

"What he said," Keefe agreed, joining the gang.

"Since when have you two ever agreed with each other?" Fitz chimed in. 

Tam and Keefe looked at each other and answered in unison, "Since just now."
