"Archons, is it already that time?" Y/N's eyes widened at the clock on the wall.
The calm bubble that had been surrounding the two, popped. Kaeya chuckled and gave Y/N a warm grin, "Time flies when you're having fun."
Y/N giggled, "I guess so."
The two had spent the better part of four hours talking over anything and everything. Y/N had learned many things about the cavalry captain. His favorite flower was a Lily, blue was his absolute favorite color and he loved small fluffy animals. The girl found the last one quite amusing and frankly, adorable. At least now she knew she could get him a plushie, or something along those lines for his birthday, whenever it came up.
"If you'll follow me Miss L/N." Kaeya began, in a very formal voice, picking up Y/N's bag and leading the way.
He slyly took in the girls face as she followed him. A small smile graced her lips and wisps of her H/C hair were flowing with the motion of her movement, her E/C eyes were filled with wonder as she took in the many paintings and decorations on the walls. Kaeya sighed, he was no fool.
He knew how he felt, but he also knew where Y/N's heart truly lay.
And it wasn't with him.
Still, couldn't hurt to try.
"Here we are!" The man stated, stopping in front of a set of very grand double doors. Kaeya entered the room and Y/N followed suit. She held back a childish squeal at how pretty the room was. The walls were a light navy color, which went perfectly with the dark blue bedsheets and curtains. A vanity table was opposite the bed, with a mirror built in. To the left was a good sized wardrobe, which would easily be able to fit the meagre amount of clothes the girl had brought with her.
"It's so pretty." She breathed, which in turn made Kaeya chuckle, "Not as pretty as you Miss L/N."
Y/N playfully elbowed him, "Shut up, it sounds weird having you address me like that!"
In truth, it was odd hearing people calling her Miss L/N. All her life she had always let people know it was ok to call her by her first name, and so they did.
"Ok ok, will do. So, the an-suite is just through that door there. Everything you need should be in there, shower, towels, shampoos and all the other basics. If you need anything at all, please do just come to my room and let me know. I'm in the room opposite you so it's no bother at all."
"Thank you Kaeya, for everything." The girl said, gratefully. She honestly couldn't have asked for more.
He was so kind and caring, despite the fact that they had only known each other for a couple of days! And here she was, staying in his house! Kaeya left the room, softly shutting the door behind him and Y/N decided that sleep was what she needed most at the moment.
She got into her night clothes, quickly freshened up in the bathroom and packed away some of her clothes into the wardrobe before falling onto the inviting bed.
Within seconds, she was sound asleep.

Y/N squinted as soft rays of sunshine began to illuminate the room.
A light knock on the bedroom door sounded throughout the otherwise quiet house.
"Come in." The girl called out groggily, her eyes closed again as Kaeya entered the room. The sight was enough to make him stop in his tracks. Y/N's hair was delicately splayed over the white sheets, her face had a relaxed look about it, free from stress and worry. The sun shone on her skin, making it glow beautifully and her lips here ever so slightly parted.
Kaeya wanted nothing more than to take a picture so he could remember this moment forever, but alas, the moment was over.
Y/N opened her E/C eyes and looked over at the cavalry captain. Dread washed over her as she realized how much of a mess she probably looked like right now.
"Good morning beautiful. You look perfect, even just after waking up."
Immediately a blush erupted onto Y/N's face and she buried herself into the pillows.
'How can I look perfect in the morning, what is he talking about. I swear I look like a hilichurl most mornings!'
Y/N's internal monologue was interrupted by a hand wrenching the pillows away.
"I'll start on breakfast while you get ready. Then if you like I could show you more of Mondstadt?" Kaeya suggested hopefully. Relief flooded him when he saw the small smile on the girls face.
"That sounds great Kaeya. Thank you."
