Peter's POV

I wake up and see Rory sitting on her phone.

"Morning Sleeping Beauty!"

"Wha-why are you..." Suddenly I remember.

"You... you didn't have to stay!" 

She rolls her eyes and sighs.

"It's Sunday so no school. How's your arm?" She asks. I never realised how quiet she is when there aren't a lot of people around.

"Umm it stings a bit. My healing should deal with it though!"

She nods.

"Hungry?"

"Bish, I'm always hungry. Fast metabolism remember?" 

She rummages in her bag and pulls out a very crushed Kit Kat.

"Ooh can I have some?" I ask, sounding like a little kid.

"No I got it out for no reason. Of course Spider boy!" She sasses.

"It's Spider MAN not boy." The amount of times I have to tell people that.
She stands up and walks to the door.

"C'mon. Eat that while we walk, let's get breakfast or something."

I nod and we walk in silence.

"Do you know what Star Wars is?" I ask, breaking the silence.

Aurora's POV
"What the fuck is Star Wars?" I ask incredulously. 

He just stares at me blankly.

"HOw do you not know?"

Bruh. I grew up in a fucking terrorist group that enjoy torturing and experimenting on people.

"How high are you?" I ask.

"Umm I think it goes: hi how are you!" He replies.

*CUE INTENSE LAUGHING*

"Kids, be careful while camping. It's... IN TENTSE!" I joke.

"No. Stop. Ooh muffins!" I swear, he is literally an overexcited puppy.

"What are muffins...?"

He turns around and glares at me.

"Amazing." Ok then.

We walk in, sit down and order a muffin each.

"Oh my god this is so good!" I whisper yell.
He sits there with a smirk on his face.

"I told you so!"

I flip him off and he gasps with mock offence.

"Have you ever thought about the future?" He says, now really serious.

Ya mean, like tomorrow?" 

"No no, like when we're adults." He replies. 

"Yeah I have. But I've never been to school and I have a criminal record as long as my arm so... it would be stupid anyway." I whisper the last part, knowing there are cameras everywhere.

"Aw come on! You can tell me! I wanna be a scientist or an engineer when I grow up! Or an Avenger I dunno." I can't help but laugh at the puppy like teenager across from me.

"Umm Marine Biologist, engineer or maybe a cyber security specialist." I blush.

"Aw cool! You'd be great at cyber security, you have an AI! And you built parts of your arm so maybe engineering?" I want whatever he takes that makes him so happy.

"Thanks. I thought that once I'd escaped, I'd be normal and go to school and shed my past. But I guess, maybe that won't happen." I sigh.

Pete puts his hand on my shoulder and for the first time, I don't flinch.
