Aurora's POV I sit down facing my biological parents.
"Ok, so please explain why." My 'dad' sighs.
"Ok. So we don't expect forgiveness but hear us out. We are ex-SHIELD agents and when you started showing signs of having powers we didn't want the Director experimenting to see what you could do. So we looked up options and then.... yeah."
My world stops.
"Did-did you say Shield?"
My parents nod. Oh my god. My eyes flick to a photo of... Allegra, Mateo, Clint and Nat.
"Ok how the fuck do you know Nat and Clint?" I ask, bewildered.
"Oh, Agents Barton and Romanoff? We're friends. Clint looked after you sometimes when you were little."

"Any other bombshells ya wanna drop?" I sarcastically ask, not expecting an answer.
"Yes. You have a 10 year old little brother who should be home... now." As Allegra says now, a boy runs in.
"Hi Mom! Hi Dad! Hi edgy teenage girl sitting on the couch! Wait what?" My god he reminds me of Pete.
"So, this is my replacement?" I mutter.
"Mom, who is this?"
I sigh.
"Well, I guess I have a little brother now." He looks shocked as hell.
"Well um, my name is Rowan!"
"Hey Rowan, I'm Aurora. It's nice to meet you. I guess I'm your older sister."
"Wait, then why are you never around? Why have I never met you? Why do you have a metal arm that looks so cool?" He rapid fire asks questions.
"Well I have a metal arm because my regular arm got cut off, I'm not around because I have big time parent issues and I'm also an assassin." I vaguely tell him.
"Wait, assassin? Are you gonna kill me?" I shake my head.
"Well, why don't you two get to know each other?" Mateo suggests.
"Ok, but don't fucking think that this means this conversation is over!" I growl.
"C'mon I wanna show you my room!"
I follow him into his room and damn it's cool.
