The King's Trail Part 1

Tracking down something like an elephant is easy, once you do extensive research it becomes less of a challenge to find them but when hunting something like a species that's been on this earth longer than elephants have, it becomes increasingly difficult to find them, especially since some of them live near populated areas.

It's quite ironic, a creature that is much bigger than an elephant has managed to evade being killed by hunters and poachers, you'd think that something that big would be an easy target.

With it's size and weight, it surely looks like something that would be spotted quite often since it's such a massive animal yet it barely gets seen at all these days, and the interesting thing about this animal is the fact that despite being bigger, this reptile is actually slightly faster than an elephant.

Even though it weighs at about 9 tons, it's a fairly fast creature, it's full speed is 30 miles per hour which is impressive for an animal like this but considering the fact that it's an apex predator it needs these types of traits in order to hunt down large prey.

Tyrannosaurus Rex was mostly well known because of it's size, bite force, and it's ferocious behavior but a lot of people tend to ignore how fast this dinosaur really was, it's speed even allows it to catch up to vehicles like cars and jeeps, however it is not the fastest mega theropod of them all, it's possible that the giant southern lizard known as Giganotosaurus was even faster than a T-rex despite being bigger.

One T-rex in particular has garnered quite a reputation, he was the same one who broke out in 1993, the same one who killed the raptor pack in the visitor center and the same Rex that helped in the killing of the Indominus Rex.

Terry is a a very elusive dinosaur, he's been avoiding detection for quite some time now, the last time he was ever seen in public was when he accidentally wandered into a zoo while trying to find something feast on, he ended up slaughtering a lion in the zoo and Animal Control had to chase him away from the area to prevent other zoo animals from getting killed.

Ever since that zoo incident, there hasn't been any news on him at all, but despite that he's actually been doing a lot ever since he was last seen, one of the things which he was involved in was the death of Henry Wu's ultimate creation, the Ultimasaurus.

Even though he was the one who killed it, he wasn't alone during that fight since he actually had a few other dinosaurs backing him up and because of that, the Ultimasaurus which was supposed to be unstoppable was killed by just simply breaking it's neck.

Gustavus knows that tracking down this beast isn't going to be easy especially since even Animal Control is having trouble trying to locate him but there is one person that he knows of who could help him.

He then pulled out his phone and started to call somebody, he just hoped that this person actually does know where this Tyrannosaurus was since he's heard from other members of the company that he has captured this creature.

The grey haired man started tapping his fingers on his desk while waiting for the person on the other end to pick up, and now he has a clear outline of what he's going to do once Terry is captured.

First, he'll have his men take a large amount of DNA from Terry's body just in case if they need to make more dinosaurs out of him, then he'll place him in the same paddock where the Stegosaurus was, then he'll have him fight Malu-01 and IRX-03 separately and if he dies then that's that, they'll just use his blood to create more hybrids, either that or clone more Rexes so they won't have to go through all the trouble of trying to find dinosaurs in wild just to capture them since it's a very time consuming process.

"Yes? Dr. Wu here, who is this?" A male voice asked through the phone.

"Well Mr. Henry, this is Gustavus, the one who is in charge of Facility 0-8" Gustavus answered.
