It was just another boring day on Isla Nublar. Nothing much was heard other than the sound of birds chirping, wind rustling the leaves, and play fighting.
"Hah! Beat you again!" Alice laughed as she stood over her brother.
"Alright, alright. Get off me will you?!" Klayton shouted as he pushed off one of Alice's feet that were placed onto his head.
Klayton shook his head. He still can't believe that even though he's the eldest of the two of them, Alice always manages to beat him at fighting.
He wonders why she's so good at this. Granted, they weren't really fighting since they don't want to hurt each other but what is it about her that makes her superior to him when it comes to sparring?
🎶Haha! You can't beat me!🎶 Alice sang playfully.
"Knock it off, sis! Next time it'll be different. Count on it." Klayton complained.
"Pssh! Yeah, right. You always say that, I always win." Alice giggled.
Klayton rolled his eyes. Even though he loves his sister even he has to admit she can be annoying at times.
After their sparring match, Klayton needed some time to get some rest since he's barely had any time to sleep because Alice keeps bugging him almost every night of the week.
He was sitting in a small nest he made out of sticks. It's not much but he'll take what he can get as long as he can finally get some well earned sleep. It was 2:30 in the afternoon and he needed a nap after all the playing he's been doing with his sister as of late.
Alice was watching her brother from one of the tree branches above him. Since she's still a juvenile she can climb up these trees but there's no way she's going to be able to do this once she's grown up so it's best that she has her fun now before the stress of adulthood comes along.
She turns her gaze from her brother towards the outside of the paddock. This was the first time she did this and what she saw was unlike anything she'd ever imagine.
Outside of the gate was a new world. She and Klayton didn't even think that was possible since all they've known is this paddock but they never knew that this place was just a miniscule part of what the real world truly was.
It was beautiful. There were no fences, no gates, nothing to get in the way. It would be the perfect place to live in and explore, so why don't they go there?
She climbed down to where her brother was. He was already sleeping nicely when he suddenly felt something nudging him.
"Klay, wakey wakey." Alice whispered.
"Later." Klayton yawned as he went back to sleeping. He's not going to let his sister ruin his sleep this time. He needed some serious rest.
"Come on. Pretty please?" Alice asked politely.
"No..." Klayton grabbed a nearby leaf and put it over his head.
A 'hmph' was heard from Alice. Maybe she should just wait it out until he woke up. Then he'll see, hopefully he won't take too long. Who knows, maybe that world she saw will one day vanish or worse it could disappear once nighttime comes.
Two hours past and Klayton was still sleeping. Alice was getting really impatient since if he doesn't see that world, he'll probably think she's crazy if she tries to tell him anything about this.
She rushed over to her brother again and kept nudging him to wake up. All she could hear was him groaning.
"Klay, please." Alice begged.
"Why do you want to show me anyways...?" Klayton lazily asked.
"There's a whole world out there. You gotta see!" Alice exclaimed.
