Monster? No, never again.

She has no business trying to be something that will haunt her, something that her brother will hate.

Ever since that weird conversation with that reflection of herself, Alice has done a little bit of self reflecting on her own time, unlike yesterday where she was willing to just give up on everything because she felt like she didn't have a purpose without Klayton, she started to think more clearly about this.

Maybe she could do more so she can find another purpose, Klayton isn't always going to be there for her, at one point even if she reunites with him again, she knows that both of them won't last forever, there's a limit as to how long you can live in this world and that doesn't only apply to humans.

She didn't care what she had to do as long as it didn't include senseless violence she's okay with finding a purpose outside of her brother, she technically already has that because of her bond with Richard.

Coming back to life really did change Alice, or better yet, revert her into who she was. Because if she really did die then she wouldn't be able to fix her mistakes, she wouldn't be able to be happy again, she knows that the dinos she has hurt will never forgive though.

She rested her head on the ground with a soft smile, she hasn't felt this good in so long. No chaos, no screaming, no blood, just silence and peace. It's really all she and her brother wanted, a simple life where they can be happy and play for the rest of their lives, but she's not exactly sure how she's going to play with him now especially because she's so big, if he is still alive then maybe playing is out of the question.

But does that really matter? So what if they can't play anymore? At least he'll still be by her side all day long, that's all the really matters in the long run. Klayton being there to comfort his sister and make her happy and in return Alice does the same for him, they don't need to prove anything to anyone.

Suddenly, the door to the observation deck opened and someone came walking in and whoever this somebody was, they weren't exactly in a good mood.

"Children. I work with children, This is preposterous." Richard placed his hand on his forehead.

What he was referring to was how King and Gustavus were arguing earlier, he just got back from the failed expedition and he can't believe how stupid they were, even if they didn't bring Klayton specifically Terry still would've been agitated had they brought along a mega theropod with them because he's sure of it that pretty much any mega theropod Biosyn has made with the exception of IRX-03 are a bunch of bloodthirsty psychopaths who were practically tortured into being that way.

He was curious, why was IRX-03 the only one of the Biosyn hybrids who acted like Alice did? Was it something in his genetics perhaps? No, you can't predict behavior through genetics. That's impossible, there has to be another reason as to why he's not a murder hungry beast like the Malusaurus.

Maybe he was treated nicer, Biosyn isn't exactly a company that treats their dinosaurs good at least from what Richard has seen, although he could be wrong and maybe some people in this company do care about the dinosaurs as much as he does.

Richard sighed, the only thing he can really do right now is talk to Alice because what else is there to do right now? He can't just walk up to IRX-03 and ask why he's not as psychopathic as the others and he definitely can't confront Gustavus about him being held at gunpoint.

Yet.

Eventually he's going to have to fight back, there's no way he can just keep cowering because if he does end up doing that then how does he expect to achieve anything by doing nothing to stand up for himself? But right now is not the time to do that, especially since Gustavus still has command over this facility, he needs to wait until Gustavus is at a low point then maybe he'll stand up to him
