What is Innocence?

Sometimes it refers to an innocent person who was accused of a crime they didn't commit. Usually the reason why they're accused of this is because of either a misunderstanding or a mistranslation.

But the word can also represent the personality of a person. Like how a pure person is someone who has never done anything wrong in their lives.

It's rare to come by. Every being has flaws and none of us are truly perfect because for every good thing we do there's always a bad thought residing in the depths of our mind that keeps tugging at us in order to tempt us into doing something inhumane.

For most people, they don't believe that there is no truly pure soul in this life or the next. Which is a reasonable response seeing as every one of us make mistakes, but at the same time we learn from those mistakes.

Although, there is one group that might be the closest we'll ever get to a pure hearted person.

Children.

A lot of children start off as good people by whether or not they stay like this for the rest of their lives is unknown since the future is always changing and adapting in order to fit a particular situation.

But one can't deny that when you treat a child kindly and teach them good values then that child will end up being one of the kindest people you could ever come across unless they begin to develop more devious aspirations.

The reason for why many children are like this is because they don't truly understand everything around them and they don't have to deal with the problems that come with adulthood. Unlike many of us who still have to stress ourselves out every single day, it feels like kids don't ever get tired and want to keep going.

However, just like how every person isn't pure, not every child is pure.

Some children have issues revolving around mental stability or in worse cases they just commit acts of violence out of either anger or enjoyment.

The worst case of this is if a child is taught how to be a vile person from birth and if they are forced to grow up fast then that'll in turn make sure that they won't be able to break out of that loop for a long while.

And that's where this story begins.

There was a small containment area that had nothing in it but a bowl of water and a feeding station that had no meat in it because whatever was being kept in there already had its fill that day.

The room was lit by two lights and in the far side of the room was an animal. It was small, barely five months old, it had black scales, grey stripes, a sail of some sorts, quills on its neck and back, and the most prominent part was the head which was colored red and had a small horn developing.

This is who would eventually become Malu-01, but right now he's nothing more than a juvenile, a child with no idea what is truly going on in his life and what he was created for.

The hybrid had down to relax, he was bored but not that much since he was quite energetic he never really got too bored and unlike a lot of kids he had a long attention span.

He yawned, the Malusaurus only just got done sleeping and immediately woke up to seeing a bunch of meat at the feeding station and he quickly devoured all of it.

After a few minutes he started to walk around the paddock, not unlike what he does as an adult, but here he's just doing it to test out his legs since he has only begun to learn how to walk.

It wasn't easy for him to understand how to do it with two legs but he could walk just fine when he uses his arms as extra legs. He was slowly getting used to walking as a biped but no by much, he still preferred walking on all fours instead.
