Chapter 4 - Isolabella
*****

"You wanna tell me what the fuck you're doing in my house?" Ace spat out from his spot pinned under his own blade.

"I hear you're the big boss in this town?" She spoke calmly as she cautiously eyed his features.

"What of it?" He kept his glare on her.

"Long shot I know but I need your help with something."

Ace scoffed as he rolled his eyes. "Remind me why I'm going to help the girl that almost broke my nose and is now pinning me to my own fucking bed with my own fucking knife that she stole from me?!"

She shrugged slightly. "Why not?"

Ace scoffed again as a small chuckle left his lips. "You are fucking joking right?!"

"I'll pay you?"

"You can't afford it for what I'd get handing your arse over to the cops." He spat back out.

The girl tilted her head. "I'll double my bounty."

Ace's eyes widened slightly. "You can't afford that."

She smirked down at him. "You'd be surprised what I have access to. What's my bounty at? Last I heard it was $10,000"

Ace hesitated. "It's at $30,000" He knew he was flat out lying but if he could get more money out of her for this and then still get the money handing her over, why wouldn't he?

She smiled. "Aren't I a popular girl?"

"You can't afford it."

"$60,000 in exchange for your help." She spoke firmly at him.

Ace almost choked if it wasn't for the blade against his neck. "You can't-"

She pressed it slightly harder into his neck. "Take it or leave it." She snapped out harshly.

Ace growled slightly. He wasn't having this again, especially in his own house.

He spun his wrists to hold onto hers as he rolled over, yanking her body over his as he pushed hers down onto the bed with his.

Just as she went to bring her hand with the blade up to him, he swung his arm out and grabbed at her wrist, giving it a sharp twist so she'd drop the knife.
