Chapter 26 - Choice made
*****

Ace and the other cobras quickly reached the dumpster in the alley where Ace had first met Isolabella.

"Bells?!" Billy was first to shout out as they heard a female coughing.

They rushed to the dumpster as they saw her sat on the floor, half leaning up against the wall.

Ace and Eyeball were by her side in a split second as they helped her up.

"What the fuck happened?!" Ace fired out, the hint of concern in his voice evident.

"Dad hit us as we were driving." She mumbled as she gripped onto them tight. "We crashed, he got mum straight away but Taranis got me out."

Billy quickly offered her his hoodie as she let go off Ace and Eyeball to slip it on.

"Taranis told me to hide as he rang you, I saw dad's guys take him." She tried to bite the inside of his cheek to stop herself from crying.

Ace pulled Billy's hood up over her head, hiding her face. "What about your mum's men?"

Isolabella shook her head as she once more returned to holding onto his arm.

The cobras slowly walked with her, out the alley and towards Ace's house.

"I need to make a call." She mumbled as Ace nodded.

The moment they were in the house, Ace kept a firm hold of her.

"You need to let me clean you up, you're bleed-"

"I need to make a call." She snapped harshly as she pushed him off and went for the phone.

"Bells you need to-"

"Make a call!" She snapped harshly as she grabbed the phone, clutching at her side that burned with the pain.

The cobras watched as she dialled a number and spoke harshly down the phone.

"It's Isolabella Cunningham. Get your fucking arses here now. I want everyone and I mean everyone." She spat out as the cobras all exchanged a look.

They'd never seen her speak and snap harshly before, but this was different.

"And bring me some new clothes." She finished as she slammed the phone down.
