Ace led the siblings inside, fully aware there was a tense feeling between the two.

Yet they remained silent as the all stood in Ace's kitchen. Eyeball gave them both a drink as they kept sharing glares at each other.

"How long we gotta stay here?" Taranis was the first to finally speak up as he looked up at Ace and Eyeball.

The cobras shrugged.

"How long does it take for cops to move on when trying to find two people on the run?" Ace asked them blankly in response.

The siblings shrugged.

"With his temper we can never usually stay somewhere longer than a day." Isolabella retorted.

Taranis shrugged slightly.

"You always had bad anger issues?" Eyeball asked as he hoisted himself up on the counter and stared at the brother.

The cobras saw him exchange a small look with his sister as she shook her head at him. Taranis turned back up to them.

"I just don't have time for arseholes." He mumbled as he quickly took a swig of his drink.

Ace and Eyeball also exchanged a glance, there was something there, something the siblings were keeping hidden.

"Did you want a shower?" Ace offered her. "No police interruptions this time?"

She couldn't help but laugh slightly as she looked up at her brother. Her gave her a small nod as she placed her beer down as she followed Ace out.

"You gonna tell me why you actually decided to break me and Taranis out?" She asked as she followed him upstairs.

Ace shrugged as he went into his room, leaving her to lean up against the doorframe.

"Nice new door I see." She mumbled as a small smirk came to her face.

Ace looked over to see her admiring it slightly as a small smirk came to his own face.

"Fancy breaking it in?" He asked with a laugh as he walked over to her, carrying a new shirt and pair of comfy bottoms.

She laughed as he stood in the doorframe with her.

"You make that sound like it's a bed?"

Ace shrugged. "I'm good with either."
