Ace reluctantly went downstairs, where it seemed that, along with bringing the half awake Vince, Billy and Charlie had located the rest of the cobras.

"Told you!" Charlie exclaimed when Ace walked in the room.

Ace couldn't help but laugh as he saw Vince's face. "Man she really clocked you a good'un didn't she?"

Vince only gave him a small glare as he continued to hold the cold cloth to his face.

"I almost had her you know?!" Vince tried to snap in his defence.

Ace scoffed and shook his head as he crashed onto the sofa and accepted a lit cigarette from Eyeball.

"Not what I heard."

They all stared at him slightly confused.

"How did you hear it?" Charlie asked quietly.

"She broke in just before you assholes did." He replied in a grumble, fully believing if they hadn't of shown up she'd still be here.

"She what?!"

Instantly their questions came firing out at Ace but he silenced each one with a glare.

"She wants my help with something after apparently learning stuff about me." His glare landed on Billy and Charlie.

"She had a gun on us!" Charlie tried to defend them.

Ace rolled his eyes. "Well whatever you told her worked, she wants my help and is willing to pay."

"How much?" Eyeball asked by his side.

"You won't believe me if I tell you."

"But-"

"Forget it." Ace snapped. "Just a question though, is there anywhere else in this town people are locked up beside the cells down the station?"

Ace had briefly told the rest of the gang what it was that Isolabella wanted to know.

Though he left out how he had her pinned to the bed and the thoughts that had gone through his head at the time.

"Who's she working for?" Vince asked curiously, knowing no girl on her own would have learnt to kick the way she did.
