Chapter 14 - Now.

"He calmed down yet?" Charlie asked Eyeball walked into the bar and towards them.

He shook his head as he took the bottle Jack was offering him. He quickly chugged it and slammed it down on the table.

"He's keeps changing between 'I'm gonna kill Taranis before he can kill me' and 'shall I just leave town?'" Eyeball mumbled as he sat down on a stool nearby.

"What about Isolabella?" Billy asked quietly.

Eyeball simply shook his head. "Don't wanna talk about her. Can't even mention her name without getting a fist coming at you." He grumbled as he winced slightly and rolled his arm about.

The punch he'd got damn well hurt.

"I'm sure he'll come round. We all know what he's like when he loses it." Fuzzy mumbled as he leant over the pool table to take his shot.

Eyeball nodded slowly. "Don't help the girl he wants to fuck now wants to kill him."

The others all shrugged slightly as they began quietly talking between themselves.

The bar was fairly empty that night. Aside from the cobras, there was only a handful of extra people still inside.

The recent events of the town clearly had everyone talking in a quiet whisper.

Not to mention even Eyeball had been getting a few glances here and there, his name had essentially been printed as the 'snitch', though the more respectful citizens of Castle Rock actually appreciated knowing he had done it.

However dead the bar may had been, no-one cared when the front door opened.

Two males entered, their eyes instantly scanning the bar as they slowly walked up to the counter. One a dark haired tall man, the other shorter with dirty blonde hair.

"Two beers." The dark haired demanded as he slammed down a note.

The bartender nodded slowly, he didn't recognise these men but nevertheless served them.

The blonde placed a newspaper down on the bar as his dirty finger pointed down at the name written clearly.

Richard Chambers.

The bartender stared at him confused but only got a nasty glare in return. He quickly raised a hand as he pointed to where Eyeball was still slunk on a stool.
